Installed these bad boys the other day and the seal is perfect. Love it

I live in an apartment and whoever lived in this unit before us must’ve had a dog that chewed the bottom of the weatherstripping to our balcony door, which left a big gap that allowed bugs and air to come through. I bought this to replace the entire strip on that side (don’t want to be overcharged by the leasing office when we move, in case they think it was our damage) and it was perfect. It’s the same as what they had on the door so it matches and it is a tight seal when the door is closed. Good price point for a good product!

I ordered the white and it was easy to install but I could see daylight shining through the white. That is when I decided to get the black and it doesn't let the light shine through. So far so good at keeping air out and keeping air inside.

Possibly due to it's flexible nature the weather strip is not staying in the insert as well as I'd have liked. Mild brushes like a medium dog brushing by or when burdened with a package are enough to pull it out of it's seating. It's easy enough to reinsert but I've found that I have to check it every day or so or it winds up falling out completely.

It worked for what I needed, but luckily it was for a tack room on a barn.The material was really cheap, but again it did the trick for what I needed it for. The price was good.

I replaced the original front door weather strip after it became frayed years ago, but the only replacements available locally were too thick, making the door very difficult to close. This weatherstripping was reviewed by one purchaser as being thinner than other listed products, so I ordered it. It is just enough thinner to meet my need; a weather strip that effectively keeps drafts out and still allows easy closure of the door. Win win. Thanks
