My plant is happy I bought this!
For those of you like me who constantly kill plants through not understanding their watering needs this is a game changer. I bought it for my ficus plant and set the moisture sensor to alert me when it reaches less than 14% and it seems very happy with this. New leaves and growing well.

Great device to monitor humidity in my greenhouse!
If you indent to use more than 1 device in parallel, you might experience some interference issues but it is still manageable. What you need to do is to pair one device and then pair another sensor to another monitor.

Multiple sensors & Displays work! And with Weather stations too! Buy this instead of the WH51!
This information is not clear in the description, so I just wanted to mention this....I now have 3 of these and have placed them into various indoor potplants and an outdoor plant. Each display responds to one sensor. If you have an ECOWITT weather-station or gateway, (such as an HP2551) then this will automatically detect each of the sensors and will start recording and transmits all the data to the Ecowitt application and receive email alerts if any sensor gets too dry. This WH0291 is only a few pennies more expensive than the individual "Multi-Channel WH51" sensor-only device. The actual sensors inside the box for the WH0291 and WH51 seems to be exactly the same and the Weather Station can support up to 8 soil-moisture sensors. But with this WH0291, you get a display device for each sensor.

It's so easy to use.
The monitor sits on my coffee table so the monster content is constant. I have the data logger as well so I can see the history.

data leech
The humidity sensor asks for way too much information. It requires: 1. downloading an app, 2. email address, 3. Password, 4. access to all wifi networks, 5. access to precise position, 6. access to the wifi-router, 7. ... - at that point I disconnected the gateway, deinstalled the app and returned the parcel. All of this information gathering is completely unnecessary to measure the humidity in a pot. A simple Bluetooth interface would have worked just fine.

Good but transmitter is very big for a small pot plant
This is good for the cost but the only negative is that the sensor/transmitter is quite big and hard to hide - I just wish they had made it with a 90 deg not 40 deg angle - would have been less ugly.
