I personally like the size of this abacus. While the smaller one does works well, I keep accidentally bumping the wrong bead(s). For that reason, I think the smaller one is better suited for children and adults who are less clumsy than I am. The reset button is not essential but works perfectly. Combine that with the larger size and I have no problem recommending this abacus to anyone. Hope this helps! Also, the beads of an abacus are designed to move freely, with little to no resistance and is supposed to be used on a flat level surface. Cheers

It’s easy using for my kids.

We had one already but without the clearing button. According to my kid , it’s easier to use and fast due to the clearing add on. They could work on the body- it’s plastic and hopefully will not break if accidentally dropped . It’s ok for learning but nothing major high end feel to it. Probably, will replace it with a better built one once kiddo gets a hang of it .
