Works great with Apple CarPlay. Installed it in the cigarette port in the center console arm rest storage compartment of a 2011 Impreza. Dremelled the hole just slightly and the nut as well to fit. If you are going to put this in an arm rest compartment get the 4ft cord so you can make the connection in the dash incase you need to unplug it to pull the radio.

This was used to extend the built in usb from the back of a radio upgrade in one of our cars. Plenty of cord, and honestly would have preferred if it was just a plug with no cable included but this works fine. I secured the cords and wrapped in electrical tape to keep them from coming apart since they sit behind the dash now. Works as it should.

Easily installed into the empty 12V auxiliary in the dash of a 2005 Nissan Titan after replacing the OEM radio, and it looks totally stock. The cable is robust, plenty long, and the plug has not worn after 6 months of everyday use. I plugged it directly into a new Alpine head unit for a direct connection to the stereo, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as slow charging (the head unit only puts out 5v at 1amp).

With a little filing down to make the opening a bit larger, it fits into the cigarette lighter outlet. It blends in well.

funcional, se lo adapte a una ford explorer sport trac, el esterero que le instale tenia la entrada USB en la parte de atrás, probé el cable con USB con musica, funciono y conectando un celular para carplay.

Great product, perfect for after market radios. The size is pretty close to a cigarette lighter outlet, just had to sand off 1/32 of an inch off around the old outlet housing. The usb fits snug and isn't going anywhere when you plug and unplug cables.

Quality and fit is great. I'd rather it didn't have the voltage display. The draw is more than the seller suggests and would drain a healthy battery but likely only if the vehicle say for 3 weeks. If I'm lucky enought to take a 3 week holiday I'll just pull the fuse as I don't want to install a toggle switch for it.
