While I am not sure of its capacity to clear my whole patio its a small device that I can carry around with me as I work and not worry about getting bitten. Its light weight and seems powerful. The drawback is the refill requirements. Having to get more refill mats and fuel for the cartridge seems like more work than what I am looking for. It works for 12 hrs.
