Outstanding product! Took the trepidation away from taking my pets temperature using a rectal thermometer. Worked beautifully and so easy to understand process and readout.

I love this thermometer. My puppy has been sick for a while and the vet said he had a fever the last two times I took him in. I thought I should get a thermometer to try to monitor his temp at home. He's a wiggly puppy and I dreaded the idea of using a rectal one. Found this and it sounded too good to be true. Well, I just got it, and it's a breeze to use. Takes the temp super fast. I just point it as his belly or ear. The monitor quickly flashes a color along with the actual temp. I am guessing it's accurate. It says he's fine and he has seemed better with the meds. I will check again when he doesn't feel well. But I have no reason to doubt its accuracy now.

This was inaccurate for my two cats on their foreheads, in their ears, and on the hairless area at the base of ears. It gave a wide range of temps every time I used it in the same spot, ranging from 98 - 103. I scanned repeatedly, immediately one after the other. None were the same temp. So I tried aiming it under my tongue, and compared with my two human thermometers that said I was 96 degrees, my correct normal temp, and this said I was 100 -102 with several scans. I’m not sure if I just got a defective one, but it was inaccurate and bouncing all over a wide range of temps, from the day I got it. I was busy and didn’t return it, and forgot about it. But I got the 4 year protection insurance with it, so I will replace it and hope I get a better one. Not sure if they’ll let me update my review if the new one is bad too. So beware!

Really good thing to have.

The only con is, once it decides not to get a temp, it won't get a temp which is like once in every 5 tries but most of the time if I move from the ear to the belly, it will actually get a temp. It's not as user friendly on cats due to their small ears no no lack of fur on the belly but so far, I've only given up on getting temp with this once in the 2 weeks I've had it. I'm a Vet Tech so I use it a lot.

Thus works with no pain! With a nice travel bag.

I have a French bulldog. I believe this thermometer provides relatively accurate readings, and above all, it allows me to measure the temperature quickly and easily, which means less stress for my dog—I’m very satisfied with it.

Bought this for use with a local rescue, not impressed with it much.

Me llegó hoy y lo probé y parece funcionar muy bien, yo decidí comprar este tipo de termómetro xq mi peludito tiene alergia así que vamos con regularidad al veterinario y es muy incómodo para el que le tomen la temperatura con el termómetro rectal por eso decidí comprar uno por infrarrojo de gradó veterinario para no estarlo incomodando y no dejar de lado tomar su temperatura.

perfecto para el kit de ER de tu perrito o dogmoms preocuponas que no nos atrevemos a usar los otros termómetros o tenemos perritos que no cooperan
