I’ve already made a couple recipes that are easy to follow and approachable by people who aren’t in an area with an international food market nearby. Everything has been a hit so far

Besides Maangchi, this has become one of my favorite Korean cookbooks. It includes many of the classic Korean dishes and a few Korean-inspired recipes of his own (like the tomato kimchi). Very well thought out recipes and pictures of most of the dishes. My only complaint is that he doesn’t include the common Korean name of every recipe (some, but not all).
