Not true. I have a 12" mattress , had to really stretch it to put it on the mattress, the mattress pad shows on the sides as there is not enough material to reach under the sides. The only way to be able to tuck the flat sheet in at the end of the bed is to leave the amount you want to tuck away from the top of the bed. Not a problem if you fold you covers over down the bed, but I don't. I like my sheets up at the pillows. This sheet won't reach. Color is as advertised and sheets do seem well seamed, which gives the product the 2 stars. These sheets though, have changed my view. I've been sleeping on these sheets for a few days now, and I've found them to be very soft and durable, and I was impressed with the price. I chose the color "Ocean" myself, and they look exactly like they do in the picture shown. Truthfully, they are slightly thinner then I imagined them being, but I've haven't seen any proof that it effects the durability so far of the product, and perhaps they are made that way to make them more breathable, which is also nice on warm nights.They are very nice sheets for a great price.
