This tastes great and works better than all the over the counter things. Works every time like a charm!

Great Tea - Whether or Not Your Throat is Sore!
After visiting the Celestial Seasonings factory in Boulder, CO (which I highly recommend), this became one of my favorite teas! I'm a big fan of their Sleepytime line - it actually doesn't make me sleepy and I'll even drink it first thing in the morning. The flavor combination in this tea is fantastic. They took out the blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn, and rosebuds of the regular Sleepytime tea and added licorice, ginger, and slippery elm bark. I am not a fan of licorice or ginger but those flavors aren't strong. The licorice is ever so slight and feels like a good throat-soothing component. I don't really notice the ginger. This tea is so good that I often drink it even when my throat isn't feeling sore! I can't find it in my local stores so I'm glad Amazon carries it. I highly recommend trying this!

Does not taste like black licorice jellybeans
This Sleeytime Throat Tamer is my first adventure into the world of teas beyond decaf green tea and iced tea blends. I expected a licorice flavor similar to that of black jellybeans, alas, that was not the case. Alhough I struggle to describe the taste, it is not unpleasant. I enjoy it with a touch of sweetener, but not too much. The teabags are fresh and the aroma is fragrant. I do wish the fragrance came through a bit more in flavor. Without having a sore throat, I cannot attest to the throat soothing effectiveness. However, the tea did help me relax and gently fall asleep. I look forward to trying more flavors in the future.
