So I got this item with the Circle Dot. This thing just works. And, it works great! I wanted to just test it so I bought the Glock adapter to mount it where my rear sight used to be. I focus on the target and the dots are out there on the same plane. I've shot at least 500 rounds and it has held its zero. The thing instantly adapts to the light conditions. The light sensor is not actually in front though. In conditions where you are in a dark area but your target is brightly lit, the dots will adjust according to the dark area, e.g., indoor shooting range where the target is lit. But, since I have the circle dot, I can still see it easily.This thing is very light. It really doesn't affect the weight of the gun at all. The lens is acrylic instead of glass. Some people don't like it because of that. I don't mind it at all. My eyes are focused at the target and not at the screen. So, I don't even know if the lens has imperfections or not. Because the frame is plastic and the lens is acrylic, I'm not sure if it would be able to take me racking the slide using the sight or not, so I won't try it unless the actual need arises.This thing is very small so the window where the dots are reflected is very small. You have to make sure that your grip and presentation are consistent. Because, if they are not, the red dots won't be in the window, i.e., you'll have to hunt for the dots. But, that is just practice. Also, I mentioned that, currently, the sight is mounted using a Glock adapter. That is only temporary. I will be sending out the slide to somebody to "melt" the optics into the slide. That way, I'll still have the iron sights in case the electronic optic fails for some reason.I say, it is well worth the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The circle dot works great *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 25, 2018* Like the circle dot combo, makes it easier to find when bring the gun up. Could be to busy for some folks. I use it for informal competition like bowling pins and gallery shoots on a Glock 17. Bought the pic rail adapter. Swap it on to a pistol caliber carbine (30 carbine). Those bowling pins don't have a chance to stay on the table long. Other shooters who try it like it. To be on the safe side read the directions before mounting sight.Brightness sensor works like a charm, nice and bright in full sun. Adjust very quickly to changing light levels. Dims down in low light. Interesting discovery if you shoot indoors with old fluorescent lighting the sensor may pick up the flickering. The sensor adjust to the light level where the sight/gun is located. Just be aware if your gun is in the shade the sensor tends to dim down.Hope they refine this design some more. Could use and on off switch and a solar cell on top, might earn a 5 star rating. I would not use this in an environment with condensing moisture or rain. Light weight, doesn't look sturdy enough to be knocked around. Don't know about longevity yet. Has only had a few hundred rounds on a reciprocating slide firearm in 9mm. Works great for me so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ M&P Core optic *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 24, 2016* I've had this mounted on a M&P Core for about a month now. Probably 200 rounds through the gun with no issues what so ever. I really like the circle with the dot in the middle, it allows me to be precise if I need to be yet I can use the circle for speed shooting when accuracy isn't as important. I am kind of at the limit of my vertical adjustment range, the book says to turn the adjustment screw no more then 1 turn, and I think I'm at about .75 of a turn right now. So keep track of how much you turn the screws cause if you overturn them it is not covered by warranty. Auto brightness feature seems to work really well.
