It must not run colors.. Is this a postive choice** A: The colors do not run at all on MOST fabrics, and it takes years of repeated washings before they start to fade a little. The tip is fairly wide, so you cannot write anything very small that will be legible. If you are writing on a label that you will then sew on larger crocheted items, it would probably work; but the writing will not be very pretty. It is designed to be functional (labeling items for camp, nursing home, doing laundry and returning items to the correct family members, etc.) **Q: Will this marker work on bowls or cups - dishes?** A: No, it washes right out **Q: does the sharpie have a matte or that classic "sharpie shine". I'm looking for a matte finish.** A: Conrad--i'm not sure how to answer your question. I believe it has the classic sharpie shine as u use it. But I purchased the pen to label my uniform clothing.
