Long Fibered Sphagnum Peat Moss (4 Quarts), All Natural Dried Moss for Orchids, Carnivorous Plants, Decorating, Terrariums

I use long-form sphagnum moss when propagating houseplants. I go through a lot of this moss, as a result.The brand I usually use wasn't available when I needed it, so I thought I'd try this brand. I was able to get this brand to work, but there were a couple things I didn't care for:- There's lots of extra debris in this bag. Long sticks and particles that I had to pull out of the moss for the propagation vases.- The moss does have a few pieces of longer fibers, but most of the bag is crushed moss that is very small particles - more like dust. You have to dig through the bag to get to the longer pieces, of which they are few. The bag I received certainly doesn't look anywhere near the photos in the item description.I much prefer the brand I'm used to using, as it really is long-form moss with no fillers or broken down moss. This brand worked in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I really needed to repot my orchid, and was nervous to do it. I googled and all the sites said to use moss not the rocks that the orchid came with. This moss was a perfect replacement.

There definitely better out this it’s not to bad but definitely don’t hold Mostar as much as I would like

Used it to mount a stag horn fern in a seashell! This stuff absorbs and retains a ton of moisture.

This is perfect for cuttings, terrariums, pretty much anything. I planted cucumber seed in some sphagnum moss and it grew so strong. I love this stuff!

Although advertised to be long strand peat moss, most pieces were just 1-2 inches in length. It’s 4 quarts if loosely packed but definitely not worth what I paid for this.

Not sure if It was a fluke, but I received a bad bag. I received a bag of mostly crumbled moss. I will not purchase again. You may want to look at other brands before purchasing.
