I am very impressed at how sturdy and stable this step stool is. Having the handle is very handy and makes me feel much more secure when I use the step to get up on my new bed. I didn’t think everything through very well when I bought the new mattress. I put my bed up on risers so that I would have plenty of room under the bed to store some totes. I didn’t think about the 12 inch mattress making the bed so TALL!! So now I need a step stool to get up on my bed. The step stool was easily assembled. Six bolts and lock nuts. Yes, I would recommend this step stool to other seniors that need it to crawl into bed!

Ordered this step stool for my wife who is disabled. This would allow her to safely enter and exit the bed without a struggle. We had another step stool (purchased from Amazon) that lasted several years but the platform was made of particle board and just gave out after years of use.First, due UPS the package took longer than expected to arrive. Even when I received updates from UPS that it would be delivered before 8pm and I rearranged my schedule to ensure I could be home..... It didnt arrive. I waited until 10pm, nothing but the site still advised it would be delivered. Around 1020pm the site advised it was delayed and would arrive in the next 3 days. I wish UPS/Amazon would just honestly advise... it wasnt on the truck for delivery and I would not have wasted an entire day.The product arrived late last night (after 8pm) and we opened the box to find the step stool was what we hoped for. It is sturdy and a level platform. The problem is, it had no bolts or nuts to assemble the handle. NONE.So, a trip to the hardware store this morning, purchased the bolts/nuts that should have been included and put it together. The step stool is fantastic, it meets our needs. I just wish there was not the drama and missing parts leading to this lol. But with the shut in orders, what else do you have to do but risk exposure going to the hardware store lol. I am thankful it is now assembled and being put to use.Bottom line, the product appears to be very good and what was advertised. Just be aware, you may have to purchase hardware on your own. Just another step.

This is very sturdy. I purchased it for my aunt who was 300 lbs. to assist her in getting out of bed. Worked very well for her. Now that she has passed. I use it in my kitchen to reach higher up cabinets. All I need is one hand to grab it and place where I need it and back again. Use it outsider to change lights bulbs. This is a very handy item.

I purchased 5 of these to place around the house in case I lose my balance. I found these very easy to assemble. Jose put a socket wrench on each side of the screw and it screws in very easily. I saw many say it tipped. I have not found this to be the case. at all. I would confidently recommend these to any one, they are sturdy, well constructed. I didn't find the longer screws to be an issue. I can't see how they could harm any one. Just dont walk into it, simple problem solved. Great product!

Used to get in and out of higher then normal bed. Has been stable. Was easy to assemble, though you need a socket wrench or similar to tighten screws.

First - extremely difficult to assemble. Some crappy little tools come with it and virtually no instructions on how to use them. The metal didn't snap together 100% so I was jumping on it to get it to lock into place so the screw could go through the other side without hitting a bit of metal that was holding it back. They also didn't say which way to put the screws in, so I did a few and then realized that I should turn them the other way for a safety issue. Very very poor instructions. Ok-- so it's finally done (an I have put bookshelves, desks, chairs, all kinds of things together and am not a dummy in this area) but then the first time I stand on it and start to get down, I nearly fell off and toppled because it is unstable at the bottom. I am not a small lady, but well under the weight limits. If you don't exactly have both feet balanced on the stool part, you are liable to fall. This was on linoleum. The handle seems like you will just push it over while you are on it. Then I took it to my bedroom where I hoped to use it on a carpeted surface - and the stability was worse. It teeters all over the place and is definitely not safe for me to use to get in and out of bed with. My daughter was here and said I had to return it because it was so unsafe, but I am not in the mood to take it apart and spend another hour with that, get a return authorization and take it to my UPS store. I have the box but at this point, it is just a total loss and I will probably give it to charity and hope nobody dies falling off of it. I can't use it, that's for sure. What a mistake!
