I bought this carpet cleaner before the December holidays which gave me an extended period to return it - and I was very thankful for that or I would have returned it. While I felt it did a great job cleaning any stain (and the products in comes with are by far the best I've used - and it smells good!), I was not pleased with the amount of liquid that was then sucked out of the carpet. Don't be fooled by any photos - if you get 1/4th of the intake/dirty water container full, you've worked at it!BUT, in the end, the only other option would have been a wet/dry vac and one of the reasons I purchased this is because I live in a small space. With the additional time I had to use it, the more I realised it did an amazing job cleaning the carpet (including dirty/greasy boot prints from Tesco deliveries!) and whilst the sucking power isn't great, in the end, this is a cordless, portable device and that's exactly what I needed. I don't have to scramble trying to find a place to plug it in and in the end, the job it does is well worth the cost. The Bissell cleaning products - including the Oxy clean, are amazing so if you're in a situation like me, give this a chance - I ended up keeping this product and I'm very glad I did.

I own the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner, but recently brought a puppy into the house. The large cleaner is fantastic, but it way too much for small "accidents" by the new addition to our family.The suction is brilliant and like the larger cleaner, it can be pulled apart to clean every part of it (helps avoid nasty smell build up. There is 1 issue with this though, the clean water / cleaning liquids compartment is much much smaller than the waste liquid container.Still though, this is so convienant for small accidents. It's not just the dog either, when my brother is over he has the habit of spilling liquids over my carpet.The battery hasn't run out yet and I've been cleaning with it for about 10 minutes for a single clean.

Really good item, the suction power could be a little better but it works for what we use it for. Our senior cat can get a little poorly and it does the trick to clear up quickly when shes poorly. It is easy to use once youve got the hang of taking the parts out and popping back in, easy to clean. I wouldnt say it was particularly lightweight, as in my elderly mother struggles to use it, however I find it fairly easy. Generally I would definately recommend this product, and the spot and stain cleaner that comes with the device.

We have the big Bissel cleaner and it’s “ok” but somebody said the handheld one was brilliant, so we bought it for the spot stains.Totally useless. Doesn’t even suck any water into the tank the suction is so poor!! At £139 this should do what it’s supposed to but no way. Even with most of my body weight pushing down at one point I couldn’t even get a dribble to come out of the carpet!!Don’t bother.Returned.One thing though Amazon was great at the return process and refunded in full as soon as dropped off to post office. Well done Amazon, not so much Bissell!

This is a really useful bit of kit for cleaning all kinds of stains quickly and easily. The fact that it's cordless means you can just pick it up and go to the stain without having to worry about a plug socket. It does the job well and is surprisingly powerful. A good buy.

I bought this to tackle the widdles of an incontinent dog as lugging my (wonderful but heavy) Vax Smartwash upstairs was becoming a drag.So I discovered this. Fully charged at all times, cordless and quick to use - what's not to love?Well, let's see the positives first. Yes, it IS great to be able to grab & deal with small messes - tick. However, it just doesn't dry properly. Ok, I know I've been spoilt with my Vax having the extra dry option but this machine seems to take about 2 days to dry out (by which time he's widdled again!). Really not impressed at all, sorry Bissell.Updated as forgot to post: it stopped working! Got on to Bissell helpdesk, who took me through all the tested only to agree it had stopped working (no water coming out). No argument - I'm expecting my replacement today so we'll done Bissell.

Firstly this won't clean a whole carpet, so don't buy it for that reason. I got this to clean up small spills, and puppy accidents, and it does a great job. The battery life is also good. I have a full sized carpet cleaner. But this is great for accidents and spills

Initially thought this was a great product worked well cleaning up puppy accidents easy to use and clean suction was reasonable but after 10 months the spray nozzle stopped working. I returned it and replaced it with same model and 4 months in the same problem has occurred so returned and refunded.
