We had a very sad Jade plant so I purchased this to see if it would help. It did help, a lot. The soil quality seems to be very good and has good drainage so our plant doesn't have soggy roots at all.

This soil and a hard prune saved my jade bonsai!! It went from full and beautiful, then I moved, it was stressed and lost all but one sad leaf. I bought this soil, gave it a full hard pruning and prayed and it's growing like crazy!! So full amd happy again!! Like I ca barely believe how quick of a rebound. This tree is very sentimental so I'm so greatful it's doing so well again. I though I had lost it!! Will continue to buy as needed!! Thank you for saving my plant!!

Ok so I read the reviews, but clearly not the description... First of all the soil is great, and has everything my dwarf jade needed. So far she has transitioned into her new home pretty well & is doing a lot better than before. Now.... If I'm the only person this affects, then let me by, but if you only want to repot O N E bonsai, you don't need 8QTs of soil.. because it is A L O T.. I used about 3 cups maybe, (and actually twice because I botched the wire in the first attempt... it didn't even put a dent in the bag... Needless to say I have enough soil to last 10 bonsai lifetimes..... It's actually got me thinking I need more bonsai trees... But go find a smaller bag if you don't have a little baby bonsai garden thing going because I'm not sure how I'll ever use all this!

I just got a jade bonsai tree in a 6 inch pot. I wanted to replace the soil with quality soil meant for bonsais and specifically jade ones. I filled half my pot with pebbles and then the rest with soil so it was still a shallow level for my tree's roots. I did not use much of this soil, but glad I had plenty, and enough for if I want to swap out all the soil several more times as time goes by. Time will tell if my plant responds well. I like the mixture, looks like it will be great with drainage, moisture, and not getting too water logged.

My fiance gave me a Jade plant when he proposed, so as a first time plant mom, I want to keep this jade alive at all cost. So it was nice there is a special soil for it, when I re potted my jade with this soil it really came to life. Definitely worth it.
