Can electricity flow in both directions through this circuit breaker - charge and discharge?

It is basically an inline fuse. I have mine with the source being my panels and a fuse placed before going into my charge controller. I am running one unit on both + and - of the solar panel before it goes into charge controller and I also run one unit on both  + and - as it exits my charge controller going to the battery bank. using 4 units  total.  Which direction you wish to direct your electrical current should not mater, if the amps surge it should trip the fuse. Just put it in front of the unit you are trying to protect. In my case protecting solar charger from solar panels before going into solar charge controller and from battery bank before going in to solar charge controller.

Yes, use a star washer to secure the larger lug.

what size is recommended for a 3500 watt set up?

Ryan, I do not know if you are talking about pulling 3500 watts DC or if you are connecting and inverter 3500 watt from DC.

If you are talking about use a 3500 ac watts inverter, I need to know at whar voltage ia the DC in for the inverter. The amps at 12v , 24v , 36v and 48v  are differents, in the inveeter, at higher to increase from DC to AC in the inverter, higher will be the amps it pull from the batteries that can be in serie for those DC voltage. If you are pulling 3500 watts in DC from batteries, just calculate an average of 100 watts per amp. 3500 watts can be 350 amps.

I am looking for a drawing of the hole pattern to incorporate the parts in an assemlby kit. do you have a step file or such of the part.
