Awesome for a large Swiss Army Tool
Great quality and price, and the Velcro is more secure than other models.

Nice Sheath for Victorinox Traditional Format Multitool, Not Swiss Army Knife
I purchased this Victorinox tool pouch for my Swiss Champ Swiss Army Knife. However, after it arrived, I noticed that it is too long for the Swiss Champ. This case swallows up my knife and makes it difficult to retrieve. See my photos. My Swiss Champ deserves a complimentary sheath and upon looking further for a suitable sheath, I found the red Victorinox sheath that is made specifically for the high layer count knives such as the Swiss Champ. The red sheath is the right depth to allow the knife to protrude about 3/8" from the top, giving enough purchase to retrieve the knife conveniently. The black sheath is made specifically for the longer form factor Victorinox multitools. Moreover, I prefer the snap closure of the red sheath to the hook and loop closure of the black sheath. Both sheaths have belt loops rather than belt clips. When hiking through rough terrain or doing vigorous work, I prefer belt loops to clips because belt loops can't become dislodged and lose my knife. Even the best belt clips can dislodge from the belt under certain circumstances. The build quality seems to be about equal between the two sheaths, although the belt loop designs are different. The red sheath has loops formed from slits in the leather. The black sheath has a belt loop formed from a strip of leather riveted to the case in four places. In both cases, the leather appears to be good quality and very serviceable and the stitching is very good. I have attached a Victorinox nail clipper to the ring of my Swiss Champ. I like that both sheaths allow enough extra room to allow me to slip my attached nail clipper into the sheath behind the knife. Bottom line: if you have a Victorinox traditional format multitool, you need the black sheath. But if you have a larger multilayer Swiss Army Knife such as the Swiss Champ, then you will be better off with the red sheath.

Arrivo puntuale come sempre, (super Amazon). Saluti
