She encourages her readers to stop going along with the sheeple and be guided by what truly makes them happy and to turn "ifs" into "whens". Along the way, she gives guidance of what to do in case of setbacks and offers positive examples throughout. This is a wonderful and truly inspirational book. Susan avoids flowery talk and instead offers practical, sage advice and guidance. I have just begun the exercises and am already feeling like I've got forward momentum to make positive changes in my life. Highly recommend for anyone looking to consciously move toward a more fulfilling life.

Oh my gosh, wasn't expecting this! I love how this book is set up! I often write notes and ideas in the margins of books (the ones I like) and this book is set up ready & waiting for me to write my ideas down! Or draw pictures, color or do whatever works to help me feel creative. Talk about putting some oomph into my dreams!The author made me WANT to create; her easy to read style and stories inspired me and made me think of new dreams I haven't had since I was a kid.I feel so inspired and have actual action plans to get these things done. Received this book as a gift as I have been known to be a procrastinator! I have to say I really enjoy the author's writing style and the sense that she's every woman I know including me- always putting others first and pushing your own dreams aside. Let's just say that after reading this book I now have tickets to Paris for next year with a group of girlfriends- something I talked about doing for a decade - amazing book! The notation pages are very valuable with self evaluations introspection! Will be buying this book for friends of mine this holiday!

I am thoroughly enjoying this book! Susan's writing style feels like you have a wonderful friend sitting with you, lovingly urging you to live your best life now. Her guidance empowers you to work through the areas in your life that keep you stuck repeating self defeating habits. She is witty, wise and challenging. The chapters are easy to digest and you find helpful tools in each one. I am working on "Active Faith" thanks to this great book. If you have dreams, goals or ideas you wish to make manifest, I suggest you get this book TODAY!
