15504 Commercial NSF Wet Blade and Lid Vita Mix Standard Stackable Container, 48 oz., Clear

I broke my original vitamix container. I have a tendency to leave things on my drying rack to the point that it becomes a jenga like tower /pyramid of dishes and containers. The original container had a good run but being the capper to my drying tower isn't the safest job. Got this one and it works just as well. I've sort of learned my lesson and keep this away from the edge when drying

I was a little disappointed with it, the lid does not seal well

I got Vitamix's "The Quiet One" blender so I could make smoothies. It was great ... but the container that comes with it is too big. If you make smoothies using the container that comes with The Quiet One, you need to be making servings for two. To make a good, thick smoothie WITH whey protein (that's going to grab air bubbles and make the whole mix puff up even more) you have to start by covering the blades in the watery ingredients, before you add the frozen fruit and all the other goodies that make it an actual smoothie. So unless you want a not-thick smoothie, you're going to end up with a minimum amount of STUFF in the container. And it was more stuff than I wanted drink in one sitting. Seriously, if you start with enough fluid to cover the blades and then add enough other stuff to make it good and thick, it's a BIG smoothie. Too big. This container solves that: It's narrower and the blades are lower. You can have all the joys of working with the Vitamix Quiet One, a great blender, and not throw away the last third of your good ingredients because you had to make too much.

It's a replacement and it's as good as the original.
