This was my first time using sea moss. This brand seems to be of high quality. It was easy to prepare. I take 2 tablespoons a day. I feel more energy and great after each time I take it in the morning. It gives me an overall good feeling when I take it. I have not tried it on my skin yet. Also, I looked on Google / YouTube and learned how to make it from other people. They said to add a squeeze of lime to the water that I put it in to soak, so it becomes more alkaline. I did not taste the lime at all. The taste of the seaweed gel is a mild and not overwhelming at all according to my taste. I actually like the way it tastes. A small amount of this dried sea moss goes a long way and there is a lot in the package, so it is a good deal for the price in my opinion. I am glad that I learned about this product. I am not a doctor or health professional but I would recommend it as a very good supplement for your health from my own experience in using it. I really like the way it makes me feel and plan to continue taking it.

This sea moss is absolutely perfect. It is exactly as my mom used to make for us children back home in Jamaica over 50 years ago. I bought the 8 ounce pack and made a big handful...whoa! Let me tell you do not prepare a lot at once. I let it soak for almost a whole 24 hours opposed to the 4 to 8 hours because I was sleeping. It swelled and plumped up NICELY and when I blended it up I got 64oz... yup, the blender was totally FULL of rich, thick and I do mean thick gel!!!!! I added nothing but water, only because I'd like to use it for multiple things like soups, stews, gravy AND SMOOTHIES. It is clean, odorless, not salty and no taste. I transferred it to 3 jars. Since I washed it three times with a bit of vinegar I used every bit of the alkaline water I soaked it in when I blended the gel. The thickness was out of this world! This is the way to go as opposed to buying the pre-made gel. The first smoothie I made with mango, banana, coconut milk and honey, YUM YUMMY YUM. This is what us Jamaicans called "Irish Moss" back in the day. I used some on my face as a mask as well. Enough said. BUY THIS SEA MOSS!!! I couldn't be more pleased.

My wife has been using this Seamoss for the last 5 years. She has started a small business selling Seamoss and has multiple flavors she sales. We tried another Seamoss brand because she was out and it didn’t compare to the quality of this one.

This was a first time buy from this seller. The difference in the seamoss after soaking was evident it felt different, looked different and the quality of gel I got from it was different. My last batch (not from this seller) did not expand as much barely at all..once soaked and I soaked it for 2 days. It was chunky and not gelatinous at all. Well, this was different I soaked it overnight and the next day it had expanded so much I was like, oh my (mind you I used maybe a third of the package because of the last one I wanted to see how it worked) so I transferred to a bigger bowl and continued to soak. I wash 2x before soak and after first soak. After the second wash I soaked again it expanded a lil more. I blended my first batch...again I started with a small amount to test. Just touching it I felt the difference. The moss felt like it was coated in natural aloe plant gel (if you have ever cut your own plant) i put in my smoothie blender and I got the creamiest non chunky smoothest gel. It was very thick and slippery. It was kinda like (not to be vulgar) the stuff you need from a man to make a baby but thicker. So smooth. The only thing that threw me was it was white. I had never had seamoss turn white. I came to the reviews and saw another poster (thank you) with pics and mine looked the same when swelled. So, out of that small amount of moss I got 7, 8oz jars of gel. I have a friend who I make sea moss gel for, he will give me feedback on how he feels about it or how he feels after taking it. I will update.

Honest review. I am 52 and in the throws of peri menopause. Fatigue is my worst enemy along with a lot of other hell on earth symptoms. I can 100% say that after I take two spoon fulls in the morning on a completely empty stomach I feel energy. I know this because I also have ADHD and until I take my ADHD medication in the morning while still in bed I can’t function. The first day taking this I got up and went to the little fridge I keep in my room and took the sea moss. I got back in bed and literally forgot to take my ADHD medication. I was at a function level . I did remember and I did take my medication because I didn’t know how long the sea moss energy would last . If it wasn’t for the iodine levels in sea moss I would literally keep a jar in my pocket and eat it all day. I started my 19 year old daughter on it too. She is already very healthy and she loved the energy it gives her youthful body. I am only one week into this sea moss journey, but I am very interested to see how much improves in my broke down body. As far as taste goes , it’s not the best , I can taste all the minerals or maybe it’s just ocean , but there is a odd taste , but I honestly don’t mind it. I thought about getting apple sauce to add to my spoon fulls . I wouldn’t add it to my whole jar in fear of the apple sauce going bad . I washed my sea moss then soaked it for a day . Once it grew in size and absorbed most all the water I blended it. I couldn’t really see soaking 24 hours . I blended it with the water I soaked it in , then let it sit in the fridge overnight to continue soaking . Blending in the water you soak it in I think is best because that water I’m sure is full of goodness. I think the price is very good because I’m sure I’ll get several jars made from this one bag. Now I wait and let the healing begin.

I love it. Will be buying again. Best to let sit overnight 8-12 hours of soaking before blending for gel like substance. Makes 2 large mason jars. Very good product. Buying again when I’m half way done with my last batch
