This book provides a nice concise framework for real world problem solving. I would throw an editor at the book and fix a few typos to make it a 5 star book.

A repeatable process for effective problem-solving. What's not to like?It gives you a structured, step-by-step approach to solving problems, and you know what? It WORKS.It's also not SO complicated that you get bogged down in the details. But it's not simplistic either.I love this book. I've been memorizing the process and using it for various problems in my life.One of the best skills you could learn.

Dr. Dietmar Sternad provides amazing information that are explained with great examples, personal success stories from himself and others, how the worlds greatest geniuses solved their problems while giving us the secret to how they think with a healthy mindset. This book is worth the read and money, and I can 100% guarantee that you won’t regret it!

Good book to read.

Now, more than ever we need to develop better thinking and problem solving in all of us. Most other books about problem solving (great ones, by the way) ignore how critical our mindset is to great thinking and problem solving. I love how this book takes such an important topic and makes it simple to understand and APPLY. The structure of the book is excellent, plus the author offers all sorts of useful tools. Each chapter has fantastic, well-structured content, important bite-sized chunks of science to really help you connect the dots, and then an execise to try out and apply your learning. A must-read for all leaders who need to be able to solve problems for which they don't know the answer or haven't faced before (pretty much most problems today, right?). Bravo!

In his book, Solve It!, Dr. Dietmar Sternad presents a very straight-forward and effective way to approach problem-solving. He shows us how to start by creating a growth mindset, or belief that you CAN solve a problem, before moving into a simple step-by-step problem solving process. Critical thinking is a a skill so important for all of us to develop! Kudos to Dr. Sternad for giving us this very helpful guide for solving our own problems!

I thought I was good at solving problems however this book I believe made me much better by giving me more of a process. Kudos to the author. Now I was to read more about great problem solvers.
