The Woman, The Mink, The Cod and The Donkey: An affectionate parody Hardcover – March 29, 2022

I thought this would be a very cute addition to a gift for a friend. But it was so alcohol- centric (and I am NOT a teetotaler) that it lost any charm it may have started with. The ultimate positive message was very diluted by presentation.

I didnt like the fact that the first thing this woman wants to do is go to a pub. And that is what this book is based around. The concept of finding people to be around was good, but a better choice than a pub could have been chosen.

Compared to the first book, this one was a let down.

Bought as a gift. Love the illustrations, whimsical story, these days I feel like drinking wine and hanging out with my pets as well. Very happy.

Another beautiful illustrated book.. quite comical in parts not quite as good as ‘The boy the mole the fox and the horse’ but still a worthy gift!
