Review: I really enjoy a nice bowl of ramen and I don’t mind ... - I really enjoy a nice bowl of ramen and I don’t mind a little bit of spice to my food so curry noodles sounded like a nice treat. To start off the packs of noodles are actually bigger than a regular top ramen pack and the noodles are thicker with a nice texture to them. You get a pack of liquid curry sauce and a pack of dehydrated veggies. The package says chicken flavor but I mostly taste the chili and curry flavors. It’s a nice taste with a good amount of spice at the end which doesn’t overwhelm the initial flavors. There’s a bit of sweetness mixed in as well but it is subtle enough to be pleasant instead of odd from a noodle dish. You should absolutely be able to handle spicy food if you’re planning on trying this. My girlfriend had a bit and it was too much for her, she would not be able to eat a full bowl of this for sure. This isn’t a soup as most of the water gets drained after the noodles are prepared but I would imagine it would be fine if you added more water to make a broth instead of a sauce like the instructions suggest. The sauce coats the noodles nicely and is fairly thick. I used teaspoons of water left over from the noodles, the instructions don’t specify if you should use tablespoons or teaspoons but it worked well for me. You should try adding the curry sauce bit by bit and taste it to see how much you can handle. I used the full pack and was able to enjoy it but I might pull back on the amount of sauce to see if I like it better. Overall a very nice product that I would probably consider buying again.

**Q: Product of North or South (Korea)?**
A: Product is manufactured in Seoul Korea so South.

**Q: Is this halal and there is no pig or not ??**
A: The package states they are halal, although I am not an expert in such things. They are chicken, not pork. That being said... There are two ways of thinking about these noodles.

On one hand, the freeze-dried nuclear holocaust inside this package will purge your entire system of anything unclean for sure. I mean, they'll also probably take your stomach lining with it, but, you know, priorities.

On the other hand, while eating these noodles may not be technically against particular religious tenants, you'll experience a small sample of Hell nonetheless. You'll experience pleasure from the great flavor, but punishment will be swift and brutal. You'll probably survive the ordeal, but a recovery period is probably necessary before the next indulgence.

Are you permitted to eat these noodles? Well... yes. *Should* you eat these noodles? Err... well... I won't say no because they are delicious, but I won't say yes because I don't want liability concerns if you somehow transform into a fire breathing dragon.

**Q: Is this really just 5 individual serving packs for $14? Seems a bit steep.**
A: Yes, it is steep, but shipping cost is around $10 for the 5 pack, so that's why it around $14.

**Q: Does anyone know what flavor these are?  I'm vegan, but want to try these.**
A: As of December 2020, the current version of these have EGG listed in the ingredients for the "flakes" (sesame seeds, seaweed, and EGG). I'm vegan too and was pretty upset because I ate multiple packs before randomly noticing the new, and frankly unnecessary, ingredient.

I really enjoy a nice bowl of ramen and I don’t mind a little bit of spice to my food so curry noodles sounded like a nice treat. This is my all time favorite flavor of ramen!!! I’ve been eating it for years!! It’s absolutely delicious, spicy and so flavorful!!!! It has not been available fora long time so I jumped when I saw it for sale again!!! Yay!!!
