This mat was came and was exactly as pictured but didn't wrap around the straightener and stay like the pictures show. I have a normal sized straightener and when I put the loop around it, it looked like an ice cream cone. Kept it together up top but wide at the bottom. I ended up returning it for this reason so I cannot comment on how well it worked.
