This straightener is such an upgrade from my last one is unbelievable. After I blow dry my hair it’s frizzy. As soon as I use the straightener it becomes sleek and shiny and very pretty. It heats up extremely fast, and has automatic power off when I forget. It’s lightweight, very much value compared to others on the market. Great quality, I have not had any issues with it. Recommend.

I’ve bought two already - one for each of my daughters and I may just buy one for myself. This is a good quality hair straightener without having to spend so much money. It really gets the job done while keeping hair shiny and soft. Of course always remember to apply a heat protecting spray to your hair before straightening for best results.

Purchased after my GHD met it's demise on the tile floor and would no longer stay on. I specifically wanted a two inch plate iron. I have a few one inch and they take a lot longer and several passes to straighten each section. I also wasn't about to drop too much cash on something I might be clutzy with. This Remington had great reviews. I figured I would give it a shot. For reference I have thick, coarse Greek/Italian hair. And a LOT of it. It can be fussy with frizz unless I use heat tools. Out of the box it looks sleek. Temp adjustment and on and off buttons for me are in a good spot. The plates also have a lock switch located by the power plug for easy travel and storage. The cord length was good for me, but note it does not have a surge protector plug. I prefer this some might not. Also it feels noticeably lighter than any of my other irons. This might matter to some. This iron turns on at 380. It is adjustable in 10 degree jumps. I decided to start at 390 and sectioned, in pretty good chunks to see what it could do. First pass I could tell the plates did not feel as smooth as my GHD or Paul Mitchell plates do BUT it truly was one pass at a lower temp. This was def a good tradeoff for me. I had zero catching or yanking which was consistently happening with my GHD. The edges are slightly curved on this iron so I would easy be able to do loose waves. I can't speak for what it does for shine I'm very lucky to have shiny hair. My frizzed out lob which is just over the top of my shoulder blades was done perfectly in less than 10 minutes that's with stopping to section and single pass on even the thicker sections I passed it over. This is at least a fifth of the price I paid for the GHD and outperformed it ever way. I highly recommend for anyone with similar hair looking for a two inch plate iron. This is a great hair tool at a great price point by a trusted name.

I honestly love this Remington hair straightener. It’s very good and I truly think it’s the kind of flat iron anyone would want to have. It doesn’t damage my hair and leaves it very smooth and straight. It heats up quickly, and I love that you can control the temperature easily with the buttons. I would buy it again and again without a doubt.

I’m a professional hair stylist and I purchased this flat iron with very little expectations but I figured for $35 I’ll test it out and if I dnt like it I’ll send it back. Hunny I looooooove these flat irons! They straighten my clients 4c hair bone straight! And the curls hunny! So much body and bounce! So far I’ve used them on 3 clients and they give flawless results every time! My only complaint is where the temperature control buttons are. They’re right in the space where I position my hand so here and there the temperature changes and I only notice it because the flat iron beeps once they reach the desired temp. If the buttons were on the inner part of the flat iron I would definitely give these 5 stars. I typically use rather expensive flat irons and surprisingly these surpasses some of the best in my opinion

I bought this bc it was cheap and i needed something to style my hair with. It works great and heats up super fast. I have shorter hair and use it to curl up the ends and get some nice texture in there. I usually use it after the shower, i towel dry and comb argan oil through and then style and it leaves my hair super soft.

The Remington iron is excellent and fulfills everything it promises. It heats up quickly, maintains a stable temperature and leaves hair super straight in a few passes. What I like the most is that it glides smoothly, does not pull the hair and reduces frizz a lot, leaving a shiny and healthy finish. Its design is lightweight, comfortable to use and the rotating cable makes it easy to handle without tangles. In addition, the plates with special coating better protect the hair and help prevent heat damage. In general, it is a very practical, effective and durable iron. Perfect for daily use and to obtain a professional smoothing at home.

Had to get replacements for all my hot tools and other hair products I used for my wigs. Moved and somehow all my products just disappeared😩😩 had to start over from scratch. My original was purchased in 2023, brand Straight Genius which I’ve never heard of but took a chance, it was not the best for my liking, price point wasn’t bad. This time around I paid much attention and researched this time, made certain I make a better choice, Remington I’ve heard of for so long, I read ratings also and this brand I choose and the price wasn’t too bad. Delivery took longer than normal and day I received it I was certain to test it out on my wig. If it didn’t meet my standards, back it goes. I’m not even considering returning this flat iron, it’s great and very impressed. No need for more than a single pass, did not need 2 passes. 1 pass it was very straight and was slightly wavy too. Felt very soft after checking. Temperature settings is definitely there for your needs, I used 370 on my wig and video will demonstrate how straight 1 pass got, the straight pieces you see was 1 pass, I went faster then I should to end the video…A must buy..
