If you take care of the knives. They will take care of your task at hand. These knives are very sharp out of the box and durable. It fits very well with the knife magnet block stand. When it comes to rust, I wouldn't place any of these knives in the dishwasher. Would only hand wash since these are quality knives. Wouldn't want to risk the dishwasher ruining an expensive product. You definitely get what you pay for.

Sharpest steak knives I've ever had. I've bought Henckels and Wusthoff in the past. This is a comparable price point. These are thinner metal, but incredibly sharp. We will see if they last 30 years like my German knives from the 90's
