Worked Without Issues
Painlessly connected my Contour Next EZ to my PC for upload to Tidepool. Pretty much plug and play.

EZSync USB Data Cable compatible for Bayer...
Just the cable I needed to link my glucose meter and computer. Makes keeping track of your glucose/sugar level.easier to track. A very well made cable. I had no issues at all. Pretty much a plug and play cable. Synced up easily. I would recommend this cable to anyone looking for a sync cable for the Bayer Contour EZ Meter.

Works as advertised with my Contour next EZ glucose meter interfacing with the GLOCOFACTS Deluxe software.
The cable is less bulky than the ones provided by other vendors. I needed a little help installing the cable and was extremely impressed with the support provided by the staff person at Purenite Tech. I would highly recommend the EZSync cable line to anyone wanting to invest in a quality product.Great Products and Exceptional Service - Guaranteed!

Work but the software isn't the best
Product works fine. The software works but has a overly complicated user interface and does conform to standards (scrolling is a nightmare).

It will work, but need to fiddle with it a bit.
Purchased for use with Contour Next EZ monitoring system. The cable is a specialized cable with a USB chipped male connector for the computer and a "stereo jack" connector for the blood test meter. The Contour instructions direct one to a website for the operating software that has been taken down (401 error). However, after some snooping around on the internet, a workable software package can be found at ascentiadiabetes.com/gfd/. Download the PC or Mac software and the cable driver package and install each. Then open the software, connect the cable to the computer and your device and follow instructions. It took a bit of trial and error, but I did get it to work. It was worth the effort; the software is pretty useful for tracking blood glucose results over time.

works perfectly
Cable connects to meter and pc just fine, and readings are read into the software with ease. My meter is the Contour Next EZ.

Only cable that will work with a Dex II Glucose meter.
This product just worked. Took it out of the resealable static proof envelope, plugged it in and told the software to upload. Done it worked flawlessly.

I consider that to be bad form for something to be used by consumers
The cable uses a program which is downloaded. I fetched it and installed it on a "disposable" computer. That was just as well. The installation process is poorly designed. It asks for a location to put the database with no default or any idea of what it is going to place there. I consider that to be bad form for something to be used by consumers. Additionally the installation was very large. I have not check back but it did seem that it was loading a lot of bloatware like additions, Still it did work and it ultimately did download the readings from the monitor. All I wanted was a CSV file which it is capable of generating. I didn't use any of the other "features" so I can't comment on them.I will probably only load it on a disposable system as I really don't trust what appears to be a lot of unnecessary extra parts that appear to be installed.
