I installed this lock on a bedroom sliding closet doors. Installed to lock valuable antiques stored in closet to prevent guests from gaining access to these valuable items. The home is used in a "swap vacation" situation, where owner travels and makes home available to others during a vacancy period. Locks sliding doors the same as an exterior sliding glass door. Easy to install.
