Q: Is it really 20 something for just 4 smh

Unfortunately Amazon chooses to lump several different products under the same description/review comments. Some products have bowls. Some products come in packets. You need to pay attention to what you're ordering. Another unfortunate reason for the lack of products and the rise in prices is the Corona Virus pandemic... I have previously purchased the 10 pk for less than $10. If you are purchasing the 4 pk for $20 it’s probably due to a high demand in this product. Walmart carries the 8pk for about $9 (if you can find them). My son likes the white cheddar more, it’s very creamy and tastes more homemade.

Q: I'm a fan of the Triple Cheese Easy Mac. How does this compare?

It was just OK, personally speaking. You heat the pasta with water and then add the sauce packet. I'm disabled so sometimes cooking is too much on my bad days. Thought I'd try it as a convenience and single serve. Very overpriced and not all that great but everyone's tastes are different. I had to add more cheese and butter to make it taste better.Would i buy again? No, unless it was a much lower price. I'd suggest giving it a try and see if it meets your expectations. Hope this helps.
