As I'll put the entire thing in my safe when I'm away.You'd obviously have to put this into perspective. Even if the lock did work, it's definitely not going to stop any thief.And they'd just take the whole case anyway.It's more about the little things, and in this example, the non working lock.If something (a lock) is fitted, then it should function.And finally, the top panel window is plastic.Shame it's not glass, but then again, no doubt it could be damaged in transport. So it's possibly the better option.It also comes in a well padded/packaged presentation box.I've looked at plenty of other options, some running into a few hundred pounds for a 10 or 12 watch case, so to be honest, this is very good value by comparison.Overall, yes it's a very nice item.And yes, as we expand our watch collection, I will buy another very soon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Watch box *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2023* Much larger and sturdier than I expected, beautifully made and looks lovely. It is also very heavy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A Quality 10 Watch Box *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 March 2023* I finally found a quality 10 way watch box by Rothwell, It's well made using quality materials, it's lockable, there is a 50mm wide cushion for each compartment in which the cushion sits snuggly and the boxes come in various colourways too.
