High quality cable I used to create a longer thicker cable for my arc welder ground and electrode cables. Insulation is thick, cable is pliable and easy to work with. The price was fair and the packaging and shipping was excellent. I would purchase again.

Received the cables today (10' red x 10' black, #4 GA welding cable). Stripped back a little insulation and the diameter of the conductor is between 0.23 and 0.24" It's a little tough to measure the finely stranded cable since it deforms when I put the caliper on it. That compares favorably to the spec for #4AWG stranded cable, which is around .232 - .235", depending on the stranding. It is much bigger than #6AWG, which is .185-.186", again depending on the stranding. Great transaction and good product as advertised.

I have reviewed and looked at different sellers and there have been quite a few buyer's comments about the gauge being undersized. After a lot of deliberation I decided to take a chance and buy this particular wire cable (4 gauge) and it turns out after receiving it, I checked the wire cable with a diameter gauge and it is 4 gauge. Now if it is not 4 gauge then there must be a conspiracy with those that make the gauges and for those that make the wire cables. I doubt that this is so. Otherwise there would be a lot of overheated wires out there across the country if this were the case. So for those of you like myself that have read the negative comments about gauge size, I hope that my review has helped you in making your decision in buying this product. Ty.

Used these cables for my “Big 3” upgrade in my 1995 Toyota Tacoma. They have been in use for a few months now and show no signs of wear/tear. Highly recommend

I wish I would have used this wire in some other applications because of its flexibility! I used this as part of a full solar/power system on my teardrop camper. After a year, it has held up well, giving me zero problems. It was fairly easy to install and worked as advertised. The full system provides several days of capacity when the sun is not shining (running some lights, a small cooler, and a CPAP at night). When the sun is shining (or we are on shore power) it has enough capacity to keep the batteries topped off so we can run indefinitely.
