Dream Coat Supernatural Spray – Keep Your Hair Frizz-Free and Shiny No Matter the Weather with Award-Winning Anti-Humidity Treatment

My daughter has 3b-3c curly hair. Her curls form beautiful spirals and are very bouncy. I recently straightened her hair for her after she requested it and her hair didn’t last a day. It was already reverting back to curly the same night and she was so disappointed. I remembered we had this product and used it previously with great success so I convinced her to try again and this time she was over the moon. Her hair was silky smooth and so shiny. I could barely get it to wrap to put it in the bonnet at night for bedtime because of how silky her hair was. I included a video of how shiny the product made her hair. We don’t get these results without color wow. I love that it has heat protectant in it so I don’t have to add any other products to her hair and it stays clean and flows beautifully once we are done. I use a pea sized amount of biosilk serum on her ends to protect them but that’s it. No touch ups, no extra heat throughout the week. It literally looks like a silk press from a salon even though I used a regular straightener. The product is heat activated so you have to heat style. You also must apply it liberally but it doesn’t leave residue or make the hair sticky or greasy like some heat protectants do. I will forever recommend and use this product and the formula as it is now. Update: We have continued to use this product with great success! It still gives the best results over any other brand out there and it seals out humidity that causes hair to revert back to curly after the flat iron. I noticed some reviews mentioning a burnt smell, not so smooth results or a sticky feeling after using the product. This happens when the hair is not completely clean. Product build up is a thing. Shampoo more than once and use a clarifying shampoo prior to using this because it’s all you need. No oils, no leave-ins, no serums prior to color wow and styling. You can add oil or a serum after you are done not before and you’ll get the amazing results you’re looking for. Also, apply liberally means EXACTLY that! Apply it everywhere and not sparingly. I typically towel dry to 50%, detangle, section, and apply the product to nearly 80% just shy of dripping then go in with the blow dryer and a round brush under tension. Once it’s completely dry I pass through each section again with a flat iron on medium-high heat two or three times. This product has heat protectant in it and it’s heat activated you MUST use heat. If you aren’t getting silky smooth, shiny, full of body hair you probably aren’t using the product correctly or you need to get help during the styling so you can keep tension on your hair during the drying process. My daughter’s hair stays shiny and moves freely like a salon silk press for a week before it starts to get greasy from her natural oils from her scalp. We wrap it at night and that’s it. I never have to touch up before it’s time to wash it. Hopefully, this helps troubleshoot. If it’s sticky, shampoo until there’s absolutely nothing on your scalp or hair and only apply color wow. If it’s not smooth, keep tension on your round brush while blow drying. If it smells burnt, that’s your hair. Apply it liberally (meaning drown it) it’s a heat protectant you need that to keep your hair from burning.

I really love this product! Nice and lightweight but keeps those little hairs under control! I love that it's non-greasy feeling and not sticky at all! I just spray some in the palm of my hands and then run over those little fly-aways to get them under control! I have blonde hair (Ok, and grey!) and live in Texas so my hair tends to be a big fluff from the humidity! I love that I can straighten my hair and run some of this over the top when I'm done and it keeps my hair looking sleek and smooth all day! Really easy to use!

Love the Dream Coat. Helps to make hair silky and straight. I have very thin natural blond hair with a slight wave, it’s on the dry and frizzy side because it gets damaged easily. This helps when drying hair straight and works even better when I use a straightening tool. The bottle last me a long time. Maybe buy 1-2 bottles total for the year.

I think this is a great product and I've seen how well it works on others, but I just haven't had the same results myself. I have very fine hair that is prone to frizzing like crazy, it's a very difficult texture to work with in the summer (well, pretty much all year it's difficult to work with, but doubly so in the summer). I was so hoping this product would be a game changer, but I just can't quite give it five stars. I used a good amount of the product and combed it all through my hair to make sure everything was saturated with it. I was pleasantly surprised that even when you use a lot of this product, it does not weigh your hair down or make it greasy AT ALL. That really shocked me, I thought for sure it would end up greasy from using that much. I rough dried my hair until it was about 80% dry and then switched over to a blow dry brush to get the heat/tension combo needed to achieve the smoothest end result. It was a definite improvement over my usual routine, but I still ended up with frizz as the day went on. I waited until I had washed my hair a few times before trying it again and have used it about four or five times now since I got it, it says the product lasts through 3-4 shampoos. While it does help on the subsequent washes until it washes out completely, it gets frizzier each day. I was curious what would happen if you used it daily, but since it does seem to be a product that coats and bonds to your hair (even lasting through shampooing) I was hestitant to try that. Even if it doesn't feel like there's anything on your hair, I didn't want to end up with a bunch of build up that could end up making my hair feel or look weird. I did use it after washing only one time on a couple of days and didn't notice that it made it feel weighted down, but also wasn't any smoother. The other odd thing with this product is that there isn't a scent to it, but it makes your hair smell strange. I have no idea how to describe the smell other than that it reminds me of the smell of people after being outside in the wind, it's just not a pleasant scent and it's so weird that there is no scent to the product but that's how it makes your hair smell. I think I'm like most women in that I want my hair to smell nice, but this product is going to do the opposite. My hair doesn't even smell like my shampoo after using this product, it's like it wipes out that scent and replaces it with.....whatever you'd call this weird smell. I'll use this until the bottle is gone, but I really don't think it's something I'd purchase again. I think it's still overall a good product based on the results I did see and I would still recommend others to try it, I know I have a very difficult hair texture and I think it would be a great product for people with a different texture of hair, but it's just not for me.

I bought this back in Feb and tried it a few times with rather disappointing results. I thought maybe the directions were a little exaggerated and I used it like other leave in products. Sprayed it into my hair, combed through, applied my usual anti-frizz serum and then blow dried as usual flipping my hair upside down. THIS IS NOT IT! A few Weeks ago I tried it again because my hair was just a frizzy dry mess. I decided to follow the directions to the letter. I sectioned my towel dried hair that was still pretty wet. Sprayed each section LIBERALLY, like, more than I thought I ever should and combed each section through before moving on to the next. I skipped any other product in my hair which kind of terrified me. I let air dry a bit before blow drying with my giant air brush, again, going in sections and using tension and high heat. I was literally floored by the results! My hair was soft, felt like silk, was SUPER smooth and INSANELY shiny!!!! Since using this product the right way, my super dry, frizzy, crunchy hair has been the complete opposite. My co-workers all thought I had gotten my hair done at a salon, had my hair colored, had my hair cut….none of which has happened. My hair is easier to style and curl, it has bounce and movement. It glistens without looking oily. My only criticism is the design of the bottle. It’s not very ergonomic and the nozzle spins and I’ll lose my grip on it throughout application. So, I transferred the product into a different spray bottle that is much easier to hold while spraying. The moral of this story ladies and gentlemen is that you MUST follow the directions!! I can’t stress that enough. When they call it a coat, they mean it. Each section of your hair needs to be coating thoroughly and absolutely saturated by the product. Just spraying it into your hair isn’t going to do the trick. You also need heat with tension. Just blow drying won’t do it. Yes it takes a bit more time, but the results in applying it and blow drying correctly are worth it. I don’t notice a scent really. My hair just smells clean. I also notice my hair doesn’t get as oily as quickly. I was also surprised that no other products were needed at all. No leave in condition, no oil, serum nothing.

I finally decided to try Color WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray after seeing so many rave reviews, and I have to admit—it really does what it promises. My hair tends to get frizzy and dull, especially in humidity, and this product makes a noticeable difference. After blow-drying, my hair looks smoother, shinier, and more polished, almost like I just walked out of a salon. What I love most is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave any greasy or sticky residue. My hair still feels light and natural, just sleeker and more controlled. It also seems to help my style last longer, even on damp or rainy days. The only downside is the price. It’s definitely on the higher end compared to other styling sprays. However, a little goes a long way, and because the results are so reliable, I feel like it’s still a good value in the long run. If you struggle with frizz or want that smooth, glossy “glass hair” look, this is absolutely worth trying—just be prepared for the higher cost.

I love this product! I hesitate to buy again, because the spray quits working and I have to funnel it to another container. Otherwise 5 stars.

This product is amazing! I have not cut my hair because with this product I get these beautiful curls. I use a curling iron on the ends of my hair after using this product almost as directed. I don't use a conditioner in the shower, but I do use a spray protein conditioner before this product. My hair is blonde, but naturally gray. I could not tame the gray hair frizzies until WOW. Occasionally, between washes I will use a little Morrocan oil. My hair has never looked this great! I get compliments often. My hair tolerates the humidity without frizz now, and for some reason holds curls beautifully two to three days. There may be a learning curve as you learn to using it, but this is everything it claims to be and more. Be patient at first. I didn't think it worked, but I had to learn how to use it. Some say it breaks their hair. I would suggest being gentle as you straighten with a round brush and dry. Don't be rough and use the brush as little as possible. Remove tangles with wide comb. Section yout hair and hold the section straight as you dry.
