It helps pull some heat from the PS5. This stand isn't a miracle machine by any means, but it does help. The controller charging ports are USB-C plugs that are stationary, I could see this breaking with kids/people that aren't careful plugging them in. Has 3 USB ports on the front. It is intended to plug directly into the PS5 which consumes your one USB port, but runs fine off of a generic wall USB adapter also.

It’s a nice fit! The cooling station works as designed, it’s very quiet and circulates plenty of air. Nothing complicated. The station compliments the PS5 with its sleek design.

Great cooling solution for the ps5. My unit was giving me the overheat warnings. I cleaned it regularly, had an external fan pointed right at it, tried everything. This stand/fan/charging station is perfect. It really draws the heat from the unit. You can feel the air being sucked in from the top, and you can definitely feel the heat being vented out the back. Make sure behind the unit is clear so that hot air has somewhere to go. Plug and play, charges both controllers and has 3 USB ports in the front to charge any other accessories. It is powered by the ps5 via USB, so it only runs when the unit is in or in rest mode. Three settings on the fan. I run the highest setting while gaming then turn it down to the lowest during the rest mode just to fully cool the unit. Yes you can hear the fan, shouldn't make a difference if you have any volume going or if you have a headset on. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive cooling solution for anyone with overheating warnings

I received a PS5 for Christmas from my wife and was excited to start playing. I am not an avid gamer at all (thanks to life and my 3 year old), but try to play for an hour or so a few times a week. After playing for a longer duration one night I realized how HOT the playstation can get. Kind of freaked me out. So I did some research and found a lot of these cooling stations on amazon. After a lot of research and review reading, I decided to give this a try. Was easy to set up and place my PS5 slim in it. Was able to charge my controller on the station as well, which is a big plus. There are 3 fan speeds, and yes, 3 is the loudest, but it's a low hum...nothing crazy at all. I usually set it at speed 2 or 3 when I play and it definitely seems to help. My only complaint is that the playstation essentially only "sits" in the station, rather than clipping or screwing in. It may be different with other PS5 models. Makes me a little nervous, but the size of the base of the station keeps it held in place very well and it seems sturdy when sitting in it - I would've just liked to hear a "clip" sound when setting it in. Other than that, it's great and I recommend it. Initially I went with the white base, but my entertainment center is a brown/black color, so I opted to return and get the black color instead. Really blends in with the entertainment center and I really only notice the PS5 and fan lights. Overall I'd recommend!

I got this as a present for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! We have a standard ps5 and it fits extremely well. Everything works great, if we were to get another console i would definitely buy this again!!

So I think it is one my fewest reviews on Amazon. I bought this product last year and have been using it a lot. It has extra USB hubs which I find pretty useful to connect my mouse keyboard and headphone charger. I have extra controllers to which I can easily charge them all with built in plugs! This is an awesome product! You can find plenty of this type of fan on Amazon but I tested not only the fan itself, but the after sale service which was AMAZING! I play call of duty all the time which literally makes my ps5 boil without this fan. After a more than a year, it suddenly stopped working so I contacted their customer service for warranty. They literally responded in less than 10 minutes even though I messaged them late evening!! I received a replacement 2 days after! I cant believe this quality of service and I strongly recommend this fan from this seller! you wont regret it!

Instructions were vague. Went together well. Good way to keep controllers stored and charged. Adds some stability. Haven’t used cooling yet.

At 55 years old, I've been a hardcore gamer most of my life. It's not too often an aftermarket product comes along (for a given system) that's actually worth what you paid for. When I finally decided (based on the PS5's limited external ports) to go searching for something to extend it...I came across this little gem. Before I bought, I looked, compared, and read a lot of reviews on similar products, but ultimately settled on this...and I am quite pleased. For a stand-base, dual charger, cooling, usb-extender...for about 40 bucks...it turned out to be a steal. I typically don't write reviews for new stuff until I've had it for awhile to "test-drive". It's been half a year now and here's the report.......the PS5 fits perfectly into the base and is secure. The cooling fan is set to it's lowest setting (nothing exists yet that causes your PS5 to require any more than this) and is more quiet than the fridge in my kitchen two rooms away. The extra three ports in the front are a GodSend!!! Now for my only gripe...it will charge two controllers when the PS5 is on or in rest mode....but.....only to a 70% charge (about 5-7 hours of use). This is an "advertised feature" of this product, and yes...it delivers on that. There's a microchip in the charger that limits charging to 70% ...and it works. Apparently this is supposed to prevent overcharging and extend battery life (and replacing a PS battery is a pain....can't just open a cover and pop a new one in there, like with Xbox, ya gotta take it apart with special tools). So, for extended gaming sessions this kinda sucks unless you've got two controllers and can always have one on the charger ready to swap out every few hours. But other than that, this is a fantastic little accessory, very well priced, good workmanship, and an awesome product overall. Highly recommend!!!
