Amazing.
I recently took the MSR Hubba Hubba 2 tent on a canoeing and hiking trip to Tahquamenon Falls State Park and was thoroughly impressed. As a bigger guy, I need gear that's both lightweight and durable. This tent, weighing just over three pounds, was incredibly easy to unpack and set up, making it perfect for a quick setup after a long day on the water or trails. Even in rough weather, it held up remarkably well, thanks to its high-quality materials and solid construction. While the price might seem steep, the MSR Hubba Hubba 2 is worth every penny. Its waterproof coating, smooth zippers, and sturdy poles ensured I stayed dry and comfortable throughout the trip. This tent made the breathtaking experience at Tahquamenon Falls even better, providing a reliable and comfortable shelter. If you're serious about your outdoor adventures, investing in this tent is a no-brainer.

Great 2-man backpacking tent
This tent is just super-high quality. Every piece of hardware, the quality of the construction, the design. The tent is nice and light, compact when rolled up. It goes up really quickly with a unique pole system. Rain fly is awesome with the enclosed wings on both sides for packs. Zipper system in both the tent and the rain fly allow super easy access for both occupants. It is a backpacking tent, so space is not incredible, but for a backpacking tent it truly sleeps two comfortably. The unique design allows for great shoulder/head room when sitting up. Just a well thought out tent that I hope lasts me a lifetime!

Awesome tent amazing customor Service
I’m a hardcore camper and a backpacker , I have more than 20 different tents in my garage and I recently Purchased this tent for my 14 days Alaska backpack trip but unfortunately on my first day of using the tent the zipper on the main entrance on the tent just came right off . nothing big deal I just couldn’t close the tent completely , but I Survived and when I came back I sent it back and they refunded me my money in full and the same day I got another one of the Exact same tent . The tent is super easy to set up / very sturdy and super light / after having experience with so many tents this is by far one of the best tents out there in the market . Everything about this tent is a must have tent . Hopefully this new one will stay with me for years and years

Very light
Used for first time this weekend in mountains where it rained. Under tent got wet but inside stayed dry. A little awkward how the door opens to one side and rain fly tents to opposite. Must have a purpose. Very easy to put up and half the weight of my old tent.

Great light weight tent
I'm big so I would say this is a comfortable 1 person plus gear tent. It is very light weight and packs down very small.

Love this tent!
I'm coming from "The two" tent and while it's a great extremely light weight backpacking tent, I've gotten so tired of having to stake it down in so many different campsites, each time thinking how nice it would be to have a framed system. So a friend recommended this one to me, and when he told me the name I thought he was messing with me, but sure enough, the Hubba Hubba is a real tent and it is amazing! The very first time I set it up, it took me less than 10 minutes by myself! And when I tested out the interior, I love all the features it has. The interior pockets, the cover sheet that you can leave off if you want to see the stars and aren't expecting rain, how the wall at the head and foot are vertical enough to where you don't touch them and in the middle of the night you feel your sleeping back wet because it's absorbing the moisture from the tent wall.So many things I love about this tent but I would recommend you try it and see for yourself.

Good brand, meh product, horrible support. Gen 2 Hubba Hubba is way better
I bought this about two years ago and initially loved it. I've always been a fan of the parent company Cascade Designs and so didnt really read into too many reviews online. Over the years of use in the PNW, it definitely is a good tent minus a few flaws in design or function and quality. For $400+ tent, you should expect some quality materials and this one has an incredibly durable design. Poles are strong, setup easy, tent material incredibly lightweight. My big two complaints are that the stitching frays and gets tangled in the zippers all the time. It hasnt ruin the integrity of the tent but is clearly a lack of Quality control. Secondly, the tent pole inner aluminum tubes that hold the pieces together, became unglued and sank into the carbon poles themselves. Without the inner tubing, its impossible for the tent to be set up. This combined with being 9 miles into a trail and setting up shelter before the evening comes makes for an insanely frustrating experience. ended up having to snap a stake in half and jam it between the poles to give it support. So far its been 2 weeks and MSR has not responded to my warranty request as a "pro customer" which if they're not helpful to their pro industry members, i cant image how it would be to any regular consumer. Hard to recommend.

Broken poles/ updated after buying another
Recieved the tent today excited how light it was but most all the poles were broken unable to set up tent in my living room. Are you kidding me. I paid $ 420.00 for such flimsy poles that would never fair in the country. WOW MSR WOW back it goes same day! Also pole bag was ripped. I reordered the tent and poles look great.
