Everything you might need.
Fortunately, I haven't had a need to use this emergency kit yet, but it is certainly nice to know that in the event of a problem, I will have everything I need. The carrying case is well-made, and easy to spot in the car. It is easy to pack and unpack, and it fits easily behind the seat in my car, taking up very little space. Living in Michigan in the winter, this kit is an added peace of mind when traveling alone. It has everything I might need, but I hope I will never need to use it.

Decent value and contains 'almost' everything
It would be nice if this product was available in an EV version. It has nearly everything right for a new EV owner, but - who needs a battery cable for an EV?? Maybe replace that with a tire pressure guage? The vehicle has tire guage in the Infotainment system, but if filling the tires, it would help to have that guage in hand.

Mostly useful set for your car!
I actually picked this up to replace a kit that, get this, someone stole out of my car. People steal anything out of cars apparently, so I figured it was time for a replacement anyway......this Calbeau kit is actually pretty decent and dare I say an upgrade from my previous car emergency kit. There's really only one small gripe I have but overall there are enough essentials to get you through a possible car emergency. Let's start with the basics - jumper cables! Yes, every trunk should have these. This is 10 foot set, which is sufficient, and is fairly thick and robust wire. What I liked with this kit was there tire patch kit, which is very handy in the event of a small nail or piece of metal. It's way easier to patch a tire than you think - look it up on YouTube!Oh, did I mention I have one small gripe?I typically hate the tire pumps that come with these kits and this one is no different. It's very slow, anemic and too plastic-y. It looks and feels cheap. It takes an eternity to put a decent amount of air in a tire and the nozzle is just really finnicky and has to be on the stem perfectly to start inflating. Every single one of these I've had is the same; they cheap and dead within a year or a few uses. It might help you in a pinch or two, but they aren't built to last. At least not the cheaper ones in these kits. However, everything else is pretty handy; the flashlight is OK, the poncho will help you in the rain, reflectors are an asset in the dark and the emergency hammer is a nice touch as well!Overall, a mostly helpful kit that may save your butt one day!
