Barbie Careers Playset, Blonde Musician Doll with Removable Outfit & Accessories Including Guitar, Keyboard, Mics & More

I really like the posabillilty of the doll (Though it is a little less posable than a normal Made to Move Doll) I think the doll has the right amount of posabillity that she needs. I like the outfit she comes with, I especially like the shoes because they are white sneakers which make them match with a lot of clothes! The music set is really nice the fact that the piano is removable from the desk which makes it so I can use it for many other things. I also like the accessories because they are pretty detailed and are really nicely colored. This may be just for my doll but she had very soft and silky hair (Compared to some of my other dolls hair) I think that this doll + set deserves 5 stars!

Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas. Had to purchase when I saw. She loves music, sings, dances. Doll comes with quitar, keyboard, microphone. Awesome priced on Amazon.

I made some slight alterations to this classic Barbie. I painted her guitar and added a feather accent, painted her headphones and gave her some doc’s. I designed a custom outfit and dragon necklace, “pierced her septum” and went with a twist hairstyle. Introducing…Bad Ass Barbie I love her🖤

I am teaching myself keyboard, guitar, bass and ukulele. When I came across this Barbie, I couldn't resist. I collect dolls, and thought this would be perfect in my music room. The item was well packed and arrived in perfect condition.

I picked up this cute set thinking that the doll would be similar to the Made-to-move articulated dolls plus the accessories are cute. As I play both keyboards and guitar, it seemed to be a fun set for my granddaughter and me to play with. While the accessories are exactly what I hoped for, the doll falls somewhat short. She is lacking articulation at her ankles and at her upper torso. Because of this, when you try to place Barbie in a sitting position, she leans way too far back and you cannot balance her with her feet. When I play piano I sit upright, not leaned back so far my hands can't reach the keys. Because of this, I detracted a star from what I would have otherwise considered a five star set. Barbie has a very light tan body tone, blonde center parted hair, two tone blue eyes, and medium pink lips. She is articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbow, wrists, hips and knees. Her ring and middle fingers are fused together but other fingers are separated. Her feet are the arched, high-heeled style (though the shoes make her look like she has flat feet.) Barbie comes in a two piece top and mini-skirt outfit. Both close with hook and loop strips at the back. The top is heather gray t-shirt type stretch material. The neck is crew with cap sleeves and self color hems all around. The skirt is blue and white weathered stripes with white polka dots. The material is a woven non-stretch fabric. Her shoes are white plastic high-top boots (or tennis shoes.) I checked and they do not fit on my other Barbie flat style feet. The accessories are what make this set. Barbie has red earphones, a red bracelet, a Barbie pink guitar (would have loved a natural color on this one) with a translucent pink plastic strap. I also wish they had finished the back of the guitar but unfortunately, it is open at the back. There is a brown wood-tone keyboard stand with a sliding pull-out tabletop. The legs are yellow/beige plastic in color. The top of the stand has a few pre-printed musical sheets. It comes with a black two-piece piano bench which has a top which opens so you can store small accessories inside. There is a music holder, a page of sheet music, a clear water bottle and an articulated mic stand with microphone. Finally, there is a good looking keyboard that fits well on the pull-out part of the stand. While the control knobs are a sticker, the keys are molded have have the texture of real keys. Again, I wish they have finished the bottom of the keyboard but it was also left open. The promo picture is off in a couple of ways: the pink of the guitar is much darker than shown and has more brown components, the mic is black and not pink (an improvement for me), the sleeves on Barbie's t-shirt are cap, not a tank top as shown, there is a simple red bracelet included which is not shown and finally, because of the lack of torso and feet articulation, I cannot pose my Barbie on the bench as they have done. I still really like the set but wish they had made a couple of improvements. Between the promo pictures and the released doll, changes were made that, in my opinion, lessened the set.

It was a hit

The item arrived in a strong box so the original box and doll was not damaged. When you order a gift and the package arrives damaged or broken it is embarrassing to gift it to anyone.

The receiver (little girl who loves music) was over the moon to get this. Everything was well made, even the smallest parts. Lovely gift that was promptly delivered and well packaged.
