I bought this large-size bag because standard rest bags were too short for my AR 15. And it's a lot cheaper than other similar item.The bag was empty and wrapped in box. To my amazement, its materials seem very sturdy, good stitching, and the size is just what I expected.One shooter at the range suggested me to fill it with crushed walnuts shell instead of heavy sand. I cut a plastic bottle in half, then used the top half as a funnel. Bag is filled with ground walnuts bought from Reptile pet shop, which is not too heavy like sand. They were sealed tight and no leakage were found.It was long and tall enough to hold my AR-15 and Mosin Nagant carbine very well. The suede top of the bag is thick and smooth, ensuring no scratch risk to the stocks. Love it.

These are well constructed and can be used in about a dozen ways. Once filled (I used half rubber and half aquarium gravel.) it stays in place and is infinitely adjustable.With a good rear bag, you can shoot like a pro. Just be sure to readjust between shots.

If your looking for a large stable single bag rest, then this one will work for you. The material is plenty tough. Some people didn't like that they had to fill it themselves, however, that is a big pro for me, not a con. I filled mine with 4mm weighted poly pellets (type used in weighted stuffed toays) on the bottom of the bag (approx 1/3 of the bag) and the last 2/3 width lighweight foam pellets. The bag is very stable with that fill combo, heavy enough to hold your rifle securely, and still light enough to tote around.

Don’t forget that you’ll need to spend quite a bit of $ to fill this bag. I didn’t expect to have to pay so high a price for fill. I used some pea gravel. That was inexpensive. However, pea gravel or sand is very heavy. It is a good way to cause the seam to rip. I did beans and rice too. That took about 10 lbs to fill at about $1 per pound. I’m not interested in using food because where we live I don’t want to attract any rodents. I live in Phoenix AZ for 1/2 the year - rats like food like rice. I hate rats. When we go to MI for the summer mice are th problem. We have an tv in a campground. Mice are a constant battle.Airsoft pellets? That costs much more.I just said the heck with itIt’ll a good rest but it’s large. Maybe bigger than you expect. If you travel light it will be a serious consideration.After a little use it did spring a leak.

Absolutely disappointing...tears very easily. I've had it for 2 years now filled it with poly fill, a light weight material...kept inside and its literally falling apart at the seams. Torre it by laying my gun on it in the first week.. handle coming apart... only shot off of it about 15 times. Lot of time and money wasted do NOT buy.

Filled with 30lbs of cheap kitty litter (sented) filled to the top. Perfect! For about 25.00 with filling. This thing is awesome. I've used it numerous times from .17wsm to 300 Win. Mag. Great bag. Still looks brand new. Never had spilled out. Save yourself some money. Has an easy opening to fill. Just checking se a funnel and another pair of hands.

Well made. Heavier duty than expected. Filling was easy. It took 15# of polyester beads and is still not as full as I'd like.Seems to be made really well and the handle is comfortable.
