Alot better to use in tight formations for the star wars armada game

High quality, durable and good looking, even if it's a little pricey. The measurements are well withing the margin of error for me. I saw some others complaining that the measurements were off, if you compare 2 of the included cardboard rulers there is a high probability that they won't match up either. Based on usage, humidity and temperature the cardboard dimensions can change over time. I highly recommend these for people that play Armada often.

I've never been one for writing reviews and I can't attest to what other people got in the mail. My set just came in the mail today and they are just about near perfect size. I'm including pictures for comparison so people can actually get an idea of what they are getting.

A very thematic upgrade. Adds a bit more visual pop over the cardboard one that came in the base game. I guess it could also withstand a minor beverage incident better as well. The multi-piece design is a bit fiddly, but works well enough once you get used to it. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. Is it awesome? Absolutely yes.

Not sure why they don’t come right out and say they are for Fantasy Flight armada, but they are. They work great, and are accurate, and help your game play. Every player should own these sticks.

Very nice addition for Armada. It makes it much easier to measure those short ranges.

May just a millimeter off on or or two of the measurements. But it's pretty darn close.

These seem great, unfortunately several of the lengths are off and the manufacturer (litko) doesn't seem to care. I have two core set rulers, store championship rulers, and regional championship rulers that all match up on the various ranges. Ranges 2, 3, and 5 are all considerably off for these litko rulers. The range 2 and 3 sticks are off by at least 2 mm each, which is a lot in game terms. The range 4 stick is slightly off. The most useful ruler (range 1) is spot on, so that's a plus. Litko responded to email that the inaccuracies I described were within the margin of error that FFG produces their stuff at and nothing could be done. Weird that every ffg ruler I have agrees. These are laser cut, but 4 of the 5 are to the wrong specs. Buy this set only if you really want the range 1 ruler.
