Blackberry Sage Black Tea | 50 Tea Bags, Gourmet Black Tea

It's a good tea. It's fruity and earthy without being pungent. It isn't bitter or tannin-y or anything like that. The smell is also quite lovely, and the tea itself is quite smooth. My previous friend had put me onto this tea brand, as the quality is quite good, and she herself is a huge fan of this tea. All of that being said, I'm not a huge fan of the flavor profile. It's good, but it's just not my favorite (I'm learning I don't care for fruity teas, I guess). You get a lot of tea bags for the price, so the value is great, and it could be a great gift if you have a tea lover in your life who likes fruity teas.

This tea has such a smooth, rich flavor with just the right balance of fruity blackberry and earthy sage. The aroma is incredible—fresh, slightly sweet, and calming. I love that it’s bold enough to enjoy hot in the morning but also refreshing iced in the afternoon. The tea bags come in a beautiful tin that keeps them fresh, and they don’t have that artificial aftertaste some flavored teas do.

I’m a fan of black teas with one or two flavors, usually natural fruit and/or spice, and this does not disappoint. It’s not an in-your-face bold flavor, but rather more gentle, tea forward taste and a subtle blackberry and sage background. It makes it a great tea for me to drink with a meal, but it’s still nice to drink on its own. It’s pretty flexible, and everyone that I’ve served it to has also liked it a lot. It’s in my regular rotation as a smooth, easy to drink tea. I trust the brand for having decent quality tea leaves that’s fresh and well flavored with fruits, herbs, and spices.

We use this as a hot tea and also mix 50/50 with plain black tea for the best sun tea ever.

Smells good tastes great a little expensive

Their Blackberry Sage Black Tea is a well-balanced mixture of flavors from the light Blackberry & a hint of Sage, allowing their smooth black tea to still come through. I add a tiny bit of plain Coconut milk & honey to mine, but it tastes perfectly just on its own. There's no bitter or harshness taste either, like some other brands on the market. Just an excellent, well-balanced, fantastic tasting cup of tea. 🙂 Whether you prefer a lighter tea, or like a stronger tea, like myself, your in control. I love this stuff and have been drinking it, on and off, for over 20 years. In all that time, I’ve only ever bought it at Mollie Stone’s market, but now I see it’s available here on Amazon, which is much more convenient. I especially like it with a little cream and honey, as it makes for a sweet, creamy flavor. I’ve always stuck with the Blackberry Sage, but now I see there’s a lot of other flavors I want to try.
