No glue needed ,if u make a circle or square where ends meet together over cut ⅜" to squeeze tight
Love this accordion boot,i used it for a 2017 f350 dually ,subwoofer box blow thru box.never leaked once an had it 2 years. From this company .my hole is 14"x16" just make sure to put ur cut ends facing down an over cut ur custom piece ⅜" an wedge it together no clue mine hasn't leaked inside or outside the cab, great product if u use it for car audio design ur port so its big enough to wedge against this accordion boot to prevent it from moving an to help with vibrating noises keep it right make it tight

Accordian Boot Seal for Sleeper Cab
I installed a sleeper cab with pass thru on my truck 8 years ago using this boot seal and it lasted longer than the cab. I just recently removed the cab so I could repaint it and relace the door & window seals. There were no issues with the accordian seal. My truck lives outside everyday like an RV. I rarely take time to clean and condition this seal so it is resilient. When I removed my old seal, I damaged it because I used 3M weather stripping adhesive when I installed it. Also, there was some corrosion on the metal skeleton at the ends where sealant finally broke down and allowed moisture to contact the metal skeleton. The instructions inform you that NO SEALANT is needed when installing. This makes installing much cleaner and easier. And you can remove it without damaging it if you need to. The seal did have quite a lot of powder on it so be sure to use air to blow out the channel so it will be watertight. Definitely worth the cost even in today's inflated economy.

Good quality replacement boot.
The quality seems very good. I installed this on a 1986 peterbilt 359 and installation was straightforward and easy and it sealed up nicely. I used weatherstrip adhesive on the corners and the joint
