deer like it
I put food out for the squirrels and the deer think that's great. One of the females kept licking my hand which made me think she needed something. So, I saw these and put it where the food is and she licks it a lot. I am glad she used "sign language" to let me know! I've had 2 now and she really uses them. I keep a large bowl of clean water next to it and she drinks when she licks.

Big, heavy, good quality
Perfect size, have had some rain and it isn't dissolving much. Not just deer but squirrels, bobcats and fox have visited it.

Missing a corner
I like that it post to last longer than most blocks. But mine was missing a big chunk out it , if it wasnt for that i would give it 5 stars.

My mare loves it
My mare loves her salt block. It lasts between 6-8 weeks for her. I keep it in her stall and she's stalled 50% of the day.
