Surefire Rugged Polymer Speed Holster

I bought this earlier this year for my Surefire 6PLED light, and it surprised me with its level of quality, durability, and comfort while wearing it. First, it is durable as an anvil, constructed of thick fiberglass reinforced plastic, with a really good spring steel retention clip on the inside to hold the light firmly. I also REALLY like the full loop belt clip with the sliding adjuster that prevents it from sliding off the belt when the belt is undone, and which also completely prevents the holster from coming up with the flashlight when it is deployed. I now have my flashlight riding in this holster continually while I am on duty as a security guard, and I can scarcely feel it there, until I really need it, then out it comes as smoothly as when I read my wristwatch. This is not a cheaply made second rate product, and the price somewhat reflects that, but it will probably outlast both you and the equally excellent Surefire flashlight itself!

I have an old G2X Surefire flashlight from my military days, and I bought this to hold my flashlight on my utility belt for work. The holder works great with the G2X flashlight, just unscrew the battery cap a little bit, to help keep the flashlight from activating. Sometimes when I sit down and have to bend over I would put pressure on the light (Darn belly fat), forcing the light to activate, and the light shines in my face. Just un-twist it a little, keeps it from activating when you don't want it too. The holder works great for keeping the light steady and locked safely in the holder. I have used the product for over six months now, and it's still working just fine, even after throwing the my belt in the trunk, in the back seat, or on the ground after shift. So I have been abusing the product over these six months, so far so good. Works just like the first day, it has a small screw to lock it in place on your belt (adjustable according to the width of your belt)

Surefire fits snug in holster. Doesnt fall out when running. If you are law enforcement you cant go wrong with this holster. Great quality!!!

To begin, this product is as described by being rugged/durable and has thick walls of general design in order to properly carry and protect your EDC/general flashlight. Design of this holster is meant for your light to rest with hand end of light to go into the holster or end cap down. This product also has an integrated retention spring molded inside of the product to securely keep your light secure at all times. As my images illustrate that I am utilizing an older Surfire G2 light, and it fits perfect. Package also comes with an inner flange that goes into the holsters belt loop attachment in order to adjust for different sized belts or duty belts. Prior reviews have stated that the light would activate, being end cap down due to obscurity while wearing it. I have found no issues in that respect as I purposely pushed down on the light in order to reenact the issue. Myself, will find this product especially useful during camping or hunting or general usage the house needs. I definitely recommend this holster to anyone with the right Surfire light.

I am a police officer and I use this holster with my SureFire flashlight. I keep it on my work rig, right on the right hip as a crossdraw (I am right handed) for my weak hand. I use this as a back-up, or daytime light when I don't have my Mag-Lite. The size is amazingly small, and considering the punch my SureFire light packs, is the best money can buy. It secures the light via an internal metal tension clip, and is super secure. you could hang it upside down and pound on it, but the light is not coming out. It is also insanely rugged. This is the best small or back-up flashlight holster out there.

Used with a Surefire G2X Tactical, this holster seems to be a good unit under first impressions with one or two caveats. First it retains the light very nicely even with the bezel down, which I prefer. It isn't going anywhere unless you want it to. The bezel down configuration makes for a fast transition to the Harries (or other) flashlight technique when drawing with the strong hand, the light and holster placed where it can best be grabbed by the week hand. This is exactly why I bought it over some other options. The adjustable belt clip sytem seems a little cheap. The manual warns to avoid over tightening, and for good reason I'm sure. The assembly consists of a Phillips screw and two pieces of plastic with no clear reference point on when to stop screwing... seems very easy to strip if you aren't careful. I'd prefer to have the screw bottom out against a washer or other brace to avoid damage. Overall not a big deal but I've read more than one review of others stripping out this hardware which is very vital if it is to be worn on anything slimmer than a full-size 2.25" Sam Browne belt. It does offer a good range of adjustability but the setup needs some work. As for the plastic body of the holster, it is thick and almost has a rough fiberglass appearance to it. It seems strong enough but the aesthetics are lacking, not that that's of much importance. The main issue with the holster is that there is a large hole on the underside of the tapered section of the holster. I don't know why it's there, it might be needed to correctly fit some lights. But with my G2X it appears to serve no purpose as no part of the flashlight interacts with it in either bezel down or bezel up configurations. It might be a drain hole or artifact of manufacturing. The issue is that when reinserting the light back into the holster bezel down, a ND (negligent discharge) of the light is bound to occur with the rear push button. This allows light to spill through the hole, illumination one's body. No bueno. I plan to seal this hole one way or another since it serves no purpose and presents this problem. Overall I am satisfied with the Surefire V70. It doesn't appear to be of the same caliber in terms of design or finish as Surefire's vaunted flashlights, and for $27 it isn't any great bargain. But it is versatile, works as advertised, and does what I need it to do. I am somewhat concerned with reports of durability issues with this holster and if anything fails on it I'll update my review accordingly.

This torch holster is lightweight, accommodates a normal trouser belt (35mm) and has two internal metal springs which secures your Surefire torch, even in the upside down position. This holster includes a small device which screws together to stop it from bouncing around on your belt. A great buy!

Sweet little belt holster from Surefire, that holds a myriad of their tactical flashlights. Well built and very sturdy. As a test, I accidentally stepped on it, and absolutely no damage or even marks. Holds the flashlight very very securely, with a metal retainer clip. Amazingly, this leaves no marks on the flashlight. (How do they do that???). Fits a large tactical belt, but I don't use that stuff, so with the included belt adjustment insert, you can set the size to whatever your belt is. Would heartily recommend this to anyone with SUREFIRE flashlights. Beats any leather or web/fabric flashlight holder out there.
