Laptop Visor

it works very well, well made & I think it will last me for years since I only uses it occasionally for my outdoor events. Great service when it came to exchanging it for the right size of my notebook. Make sure you order the right one for your notebook! A mini means your notebook is a mini notebook. Getting it right will save you some $ on return shipping. Just measure the your screen prior to ordering it to make sure.

Good concept but VERY poor design and implementation. Used it on boat and warmer weather softened the velcro tape holding the unit together and on my laptop - sticky and not able to clean up. The worst part was the plastic used in manufacturing the hood was so poor it sagged in the ambient day heat and blocked screen vision. Unit should be completely redesigned using better materials and a better method of holding the two halves together while still being adjustable.An older unit from another manufacturer works much better and doesn't sag in the heat and has a better slot design for firmly holding the 2 pieces together. Older unit is limited to 15.6" laptops so couldn't use on my 17" laptop

I can now work on my balcony in full sun with the black plastic shade surrounding my screen, and it doesn't look that bad. It also helps a lot to wear a baseball hat to shade my eyes from the sun, so I can wear my reading glasses instead of having to wear sun glasses. However, I gave this four stars because while, yes, it folds up out of the way when not in use, it looks incredibly ugly and doesn't fold entirely flat. Fortunately, I never need to carry my laptop around, I just use it for working at home. If I had to take it somewhere, I would remove the shade (which would still leave the ugly black hook-and-loop material stuck to my laptop. Still, the ugly plastic works, and I'm happy working outside!

I bought the compushade so i could use my laptop for photography out in the field when i may need some shade so i can see what i'm working on.i'm not thrilled with having to stick velcro all over the back of my laptop, if i don't have the shade on it looks weird. functionally its great so far, it blocks light just like its supposed to, and its fairly easy to get on and off.i can think of a few ways i would re-design it to have fewer moving sections and no velcro, but for now its alright.

The instructions for this were awful. I had to use additional velcro to that which was supplied and used it in places not suggested by the company. When you take it off, it is unwieldy. Since it is adjustable I thought I could use it on multiple devices, but to do that you have add yet more velcro.

I like this to protect my computer while taking a Martial Arts zoom class. Protects from sun glare, and during light rain.

This is done right - the velcro actually stays stuck to the laptop, the material is rugged and durable and when folded, I hardly notice the additional bulk, in fact it helps protect the laptop screen.

Still can't seem to anything that actually works, so maybe there just isn't a product out yet. That being said, this screen doesn't do all that much to help with seeing the screen (despite the fact it covers the length of the laptop). More importantly, though, it's very flimsy and also didn't fit my 15" laptop. Tried to cut it down to size, which definitely did not work.
