This elongated, covered, open front toilet seat is pretty much exactly what I wanted and I'm pleased with the purchase.This covered seat is fairly lightweight plastic and has a semi-shiny finish. Even though the picture is white, this is a black toilet seat. I was a little worried a white seat would arrive but I got black, just as described.The way it attaches is a little unusual and it may take a few minutes to figure it out but it does bolt to the toilet securely. There are even clear plastic pads included to keep the seat from scratching your porcelain when you bolt it in place.I have a house full of men and they all prefer an open front seat but it's hard to find them with a cover, which I prefer as it is more sanitary when you flush the toilet. This seat was reasonably priced (I got it on sale) and was the black color I wanted.My only complaint is that it isn't especially comfortable to sit on. It's not uncomfortable but it isn't as comfortable as other seats we've had. Still, since it meets all my family's needs, I'm satisfied with it.
