The bases of the trees are more for show. If you really want to make these shine on your table. Base these with the miniature dnd bases and decorate with some green foliage. The trees won't fall over and look even more realistic then by themselves. Without the basing, the trees are really lackluster because they fall over so easy. Miniature bases fixed that problem very quickly.

I used them on my 24 ft × 8ft O gauge train layout and they look great.

I have been using these for terrain for a northern forests-themed role-playing adventure, and they are a little small but good for 28mm minis. My only complaint is that they are light in weight and continually tip over. I am going to try gluing pennies (yes, coins) to the bottom of them, and I think that should serve as a good base-weight to steady them on the game board.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller and offered a full refund for the defective product. They've said that they will look into the manufacturing to solve any issues. While this doesn't fix the bad quality of what was received, it does increase my opinion of them as a company. BUYER BEWARE: These things are great...if you want green flocking all over your table, desk, or whatever. Open the bag that these come in over a trash can, because otherwise it's going to make a mess everywhere. The fun doesn't end there, though: as soon as you have these out, EVERY time they are touched or moved, more of the green flocking comes off. They're messy, not made well, and whatever glue is used to adhere the flocking to the trees just doesn't hold up. I tried washing them to get all the loose bits off, but that failed, because it continued to leave green flocking all over my living room. I would try to spray some spray-on glue to see if it helps hold everything together, but honestly these things weren't worth the money I spent to buy them, and aren't worth the money to try to make them better.

I like the look of these and the price but the bases are too small. If you place these on a perfectly flat surface then most of them have no issues but even then some of them are bent and they still fall over. These are incredibly hard to stand up on a textured surface. Overall still nice trees they just need a little help.

I bought 2 sets of these for my wargaming table. I like them for what I am using them for I will probably sturdy the base with a washer though. I also would watch out for them shedding the material, I am not sure if it will be a problem in the long run but they look nice. I'll buy again.

They are very messy, Shed green stuff all over and fall over real easy.....bad pick.

I think they are a good product and value for money. Ideal for any model train enthusiast although I am using them as small garden trees for a garden in a slot car set as larger trees for scenery at the slot car scale are fairly expensive and limited As far as the seller is concerned, product was delivered promptly and the price offered is market competitive
