My husband works from home most days, and much of his day is spent in meetings. He recently got a new headset that is not easily visible, which makes it hard for me to know if he is in a meeting or just working quietly. I purchased this sign so he could let me know when he's on a call or in a meeting, so I can make sure I don't barge in on him! The remote works great; he can press the remote in his office, and the light comes in on the kitchen, two rooms away. The only negative I see so far is that it goes through batteries very quickly. I put batteries in it when I initially placed it, because there was no outlet nearby, and didn't think to plug it in once I found a good spot. Batteries died after about 7 days of use. Plugged it in, and we're back in business! Light is very bright - no questioning whether or not it's on. Overall: Pros - bright light, good remote Cons - short battery life, short power cord (but standard usb-c, so could be replaced)

Couldn't be happier with my new "On Air" light. Most of what I have to share here is with regards to the remote control operation. I have it installed in another room, approximately 30 ft from my desk, and separated by a sheetrock wall. The remote works great, even on battery power (in the light). I also tried it from the far end of my house. 'Probably 60 ft. away and through multiple walls. 'Still operates the light. Simple on and off buttons. Great buy.

I am a ham radio operator and I added this to my shack. The sign is very bright and works off of a USB port. I have that connected to my radio so that when I transmit the sign goes on. Very nice and professional appearance .

This is a cool sign, works great and had a vintage feel. The light itself is really cool and if your using just the USB you should have no issues. On the battery side, it's not a rechargeable battery, it takes AA batteries and last about 8 hours in total before needing replaced. Remote works great and even through the wall!

I use this over the door to the garage so my family will know when i am recording. Now i just got to figure a way to disable the garage door so they dont come in the garage that way .

First off, the basics: Great build, lightweight, works perfectly, size is exactly what I need (though I thought bigger would’ve been better, I was wrong), great price, and easy to use (just plug it in and turn it on). The story: I work in sales and will have a headset on and an earbud in for two different phone lines most of the day. People come up and ask me questions, give me notes, ask for help, and have me resolve issues, ALL DAY LONG. I got so tired of people whispering, “are you on the phone?,” when they approached me. I finally gave in and bought this sign. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Now, even if the owner of the company is walking towards me, if I turn this sign on, he immediately turns around and walks away. He’s told me hour much he actually loves it. It saves time, frustrations, gives me peace of mind, and lets people know “Yes, I am on the phone. So shush and go away,” without having to say a single thing. 😂 Smartest purchase I’ve made in a long time.

Bright. Functions exactly as advertised

I'm sure that if assembled correctly it would be fine. But, you can't put batteries into the back. It takes three double A batteries, only one slot has the spring and the positive terminal, the middle slot has two positive terminals and the last slot has two springs. This is utterly ridiculous!!! The USB cord is way too short to use , it's only 3 ft. You can't run that down to a port. I'm not even going to ask for a replacement. It's obvious that quality control is not part of their production. $27.00 dollars for junk.

Well-made, not cheap plastic. Remote and with a charger, it works fine. It might be a little bit expensive, but it's a really good one. Works as it is described
