BGH258 Bass Cabinet Super Tweeter, Set of 1

Ok, so I built a bass cabinet with 2 12" woofers and this tweeter. This tweeter is LOUD! So you will have to pad it a fair amount depending on the sensitivity of your woofer. I built a simple 1st order high pass filter at 3,500 Hz with a 5 ohm resistor on the leg and one on the shunt. (About 6db). I also wired in an Eminence PX lpad to dial just the right amount of tweeter in. Cab sounds great! Thank you smart Eminence engineers, for an excellent product!

I put this in a Seismic Audio 210 I bought used years ago. The stock wiring failed and I rewired it. The tweeter seemed weak so I decided to replace it with the BGH258. Wow great upgrade! Now my cab sounds much more balanced throughout the frequency range and cuts through the mix with eq flat. Definitely much louder than the stock tweeter! Fit the cutout and screws lined up perfectly. Very satisfied. HOWEVER, Amazon doesn't know how to ship this. It needs a box not a paper envelope. The first one i received, the circuit board with the connectors was damaged in shipping. The second one had fallen out of the flimsy box it was in and was flopping around inside the envelope just like first time, but undamaged. Not Eminence's fault.

Nice and clean not harsh or brittle sounding like some cab horns. Built bulletproof as long as you only send the frequency its designed for And keep the power no more than 50 watts peak power avg 25

I’m adding this to a 4x10 cabinet that didn’t have one. I know it’ll be great because I’ve used one years ago.

Replaced in Agular bass cab. Works great
