I’ve tried a few different purple temporary hair colors before, but this Purple Color Depositing Conditioner is by far the best one! It gives me the perfect amount of color without being too intense, and my hair feels amazing after using it. This conditioner gives me just the right amount of purple without turning my hair too dark or ashy. It’s perfect for maintaining that fresh, vibrant color. My hair feels so much healthier after using this! My hair strong and smooth, which is a big deal since my hair can get dry from dyeing. It is so easy to use, I just leave it on for a 20 minutes and then rinse it out in the shower. Cons: Be careful when applying it—it can stain your hands a little and splatter on your walls while applying. I used gloves when applying and made sure to wipe off any color on my face, ears, and neck. This is hands down the best purple conditioner I’ve tried! It gives my hair the perfect purple tint while also conditioning and strengthening it. If you’re looking for a purple conditioner that works and leaves your hair soft, definitely give this one a try!

You know those people who have said “I have tried EVERYTHING….” Well, I was that person UNTIL I FOUND THIS….Quite literally, I FELT I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING known to man to get that brass YELLOW OUT of my hair. EVERYTHING. Name a brand and product and I have tried it. From A-W I KNOW I have and NOTHING has removed that Big Bird Looking YELLOW from my hair. Allow me to tell you just WHY my hair being PLATINUM WHITE is so very important to me. I won’t lie and say “It has nothing to do with Vanity!”, because it sure in the heck does but maybe not in the way people think that word applies to most people when using the V word. 9(ish) years ago I became ill. No one could figure out WHAT the diagnosis was and I have fought the big “C” more than once in my life but my brain would NOT allow me to go down that path nor accept it as an option. The blood work was not telling us that it was “C” (I refuse to use the word and give it ANY power over me, EVER AGAIN.) regardless of the testing we did so we went a different route and looked at where in the world I have worked….THAT took time because I was never destined to work in the City I grew up in. After MUCH research and what felt like a million vials of blood as well as enough Diagnostic Imaging to allow me to light up a lightbulb from 10 feet, we came up with SEVERAL diagnoses but they were ones that only covered WHY I was in such debilitating pain as well as a couple of other symptoms. Nothing that really covered the entire gamut of WHY I felt this bad and could barely get myself out of bed alone not to mention showered. I have never been so glad that I am not someone who wears a ton of makeup. Hair, my husband has become quite the “Blowout Specialist” but Makeup…I just don’t think he is there yet unless I want to look like Jessica Rabbit but without the body or the Bunny. So, we tried a couple more tests and added one more diagnosis to the list which was Metal Toxicity. Lead and Mercury levels that had the private serology lab calling my specialist to ask if I was a WELDER!!?? Um, no…I am a Nurse Practitioner and wouldn’t know the first thing about welding but it was one heck of a laugh during a dark part of my life. THAT finding brought us to look at a bone marrow biopsy which brought me back to having leukaemia as a kid. It did not (obviously) kill me nor did it come close but it slowed me down enough to be able to “work” my parents into giving me ice cream for dinner several times….Hey, I was a KID! That Metals test had everyone in overdrive to try to get it out of my body (Chelation for starters) while all that was happening I was still fading and with that and the medication and trials for this and that….I started to lose my signature RED HAIR. A “Genetic Ginger” we call it in medicine. Being one changes a lot of how your care is handled not to mention how you metabolize general anesthesia but that is just one of many issues and challenges with being a “GG”. With my precious mid back length Red hair slowly disappearing with my strength and verve for life, I felt I was fading and what was the point. I am NOT wearing a wig especially in the middle of Summer. I was already getting “hot flashes” from medication and new Trial treatments, I did not need to sweat so much I was changing my shirt 3-4 times a day and showering as many. One day, I looked in the mirror and it was 90% gone….my hair. So I thought, hats. Yes, I’ll wear hats. And I did. I still have quite a collection. Still love them. Was getting used to them and giving up hope that my hair was gone and that was that. Until one day…….I caught my reflection in a window as the sun went down and I thought there was fuzzy on my head…do I wiped it off….nothing came off so I went and grabbed my 10x mirror and sure enough….I DID HAVE SOME FUZZ. I was starting to look like a newborn Cotton Swab! Hey I will take it. It was WHITE, almost gossamer like. After a couple months it got thicker and thicker and then it started to grow….and grew it did. Like a weed. It came out WHITE, PLATINUM WHITE. The timing was perfect (Thanks you G-d!) as it was right when everyone was paying $3-400 to have their hair bleached to that 12-13 level of ZERO melanin in their hair. PLATINUM WHITE. I saw so much damaged hair but it was white, but DAMAGED and I thanked my lucky stars that mine was healthy and getting thicker and longer by the day. It was almost to my shoulder blades and within a short amount of time, to the middle of my back. It was hard to get used to seeing this Platinum WHITE hair and I mean WHITE. Not a strand of “Pepper” on my head. I even had one Lady stop me on the street and ask me “WHERE do you get your hair done!? I am paying over $300 for my Daughter to have her hair done and it doesn’t look like that!! Please tell me, WHO does your hair?!” She was frantic and I was stuck for a response so I said “G-d” and she paused and looked at me as she was digging in her purse for a pen and paper and then said “G-d….I don’t know that Salon, can you write that down for me?”……Oy Vey. REALLY LADY??? LISTEN TO WHAT I AM SAYING….. My GF just grabbed my hand and dragged me away. The “lady” just yelled at me that I “Couldn’t keep that information to myself or G-d would get me for that!” And then silence….I THINK she finally “got it”…..at least I HOPE she did. Sheesh. So, in comes this PLATINUM WHITE HAIR that people were literally stopping me on the street to compliment me on. It was nice to hear as I was still incredibly insecure about it. Having had Red hair my entire life and hiding it for a portion of that because of the jokes when I was younger and then learning to love me for me, took a while but I did, NOW I had to learn to love the NEW ME. I did! Then the worst happened……it started to turn BRASSY. Now when I say brassy, I mean YUCKY BIG BIRD YELLOW BRASSY. It looks. Great on Big Bird but NOT ON MY HEAD. THAT is where all the products and hundreds if not thousands of dollars spent on things that DO NOT WORK. PLUS to top it off I had to be VERY cautious on WHAT went on my head/scalp for fear of starting anything insofar as contact dermatitis being the least of my worries but losing my head of hair AGAIN would have done me in (there is the ego) and I would have lost so much faith I could not deal with the thought. Hence began the nightmare on Brassy Hair Street. I tried professional products, purple shampoo from inexpensive to 3 digit purple shampoo, and NADA took it out. I tried professional products insofar as toner as well, nope. It just made my hair a dark or light SILVER depending on how long I left something on. Even with the Purple Shampoo and/or the Conditioner, there were times that I would have my amazing hubby do a fab blowout and I ended up looking like a purple spotted silver Cow pattern on my head. THOSE were NOT FUN DAYS! NOT at all. The best part is that most of these wash out after a few shampoos. One day after searching how to get purple spots out as well as getting rid of BRASSY hair, I came across THIS AMAZING HEAVEN SENT MIRACLE. At FIRST when I saw it I thought it was another well known higher end brand (that I had tried but it DID NOT WORK EITHER!) and skipped past it. I went back over the list again and saw that it was NOT the brand I thought it was…….So, I did what any insane person in my position would do……I messaged the seller……not once, not twice but about the amount that borders on stalking and normal. Yes, I was THAT paranoid! NO WAY was I GOING TO TAKE A CHANCE and go through all of that stress again and lose my precious (now) PLATINUM BLONDE HAIR!! I had worked so hard and scalp massages and leave in conditioners not to mention even putting a filter system on my shower as we have very hard water. I even switched to an expensive (but it really does work and it did make a difference but a FULL FOUR USES of the the 3 products in the metal detox line is a MUST before you will know it works for you…..and it DOES!) Just not to THIS level. Had I used that line when my hair was long and pure white, when it was healthy and long BEFORE THE BRASS, I most likely could have caught it then and I am back to using it NOW that I have found the HOLY GRAIL OF PLATINUM BLONDE HAIR and know how to KEEP IT PLATINUM WHITE!!! I have read every review I could get my eyeballs on and the one I read over and over was “It’s expensive for a little bottle….”….and that ALMOST deterred me from purchasing it UNTIL I did the math on ALL of the products I have purchased that DID NOT WORK not to mention the COST of going to my VERY expensive Stylist. THIS IS A STEAL comparatively so do NOT let the cost scare you and think HARD about the cost of ALL OF THE PRODUCTS YOU HAVE PURCHASED THAT DID NOT WORK. EXACTLY!!! I have mid back length hair and while it is thick to ME, thickness is relative after going through what I went through. I was able to get FOUR uses out of that little bottle. Understand that my ENTIRE head was NOT BRASSY. From about the ears down. That sounds like a lot but it really isn’t and after washing your hair and towel drying it, then placing this product on section by section from the ears down, it really does not use that much as you must use a wet brush to brush it through so you get even distribution. Now I KNOW that brushing wet hair is a stylists worst nightmare but, I did use a PROPER WET HAIR BRUSH so I did NOT get any breakage or damage from using it on wet hair. I have always been good about that. I do not tug or pull and I start at the ends of my hair and work my way up so as not to start a the top and yank the brush down which creates knots and does create breakage. The first time I used it, at the direction of the AMAZING and KNOWLEDGEABLE SELLER, I put it on freshly washed and towel dried hair and waited 2-3 minutes. Ok, then rinsed it out well and went on with my other products (a leave in from the Metal Detox line as well as a Heat protector even though I blow dry at a LOW TEMP and slowly…..or rather my husband does, bless his heart as I can’t hold a blow dryer due to my hands not working. Thank Heaven for talk to text!) ….. when it was DRY I could SEE a difference. NOT a HUGE difference and the seller said, increase the time if it isn’t enough the next time you use it. After reading some more reviews, I tried it on dry CLEAN (NO CONDITIONER) hair and flipped my head upside down and did stand by strand again on JUST the BRASSY sections. OK, MORE of a difference (oh, and I left it on 10 minutes that time on dry hair) a definite difference. The third time, I hopped in the shower before thinking and did it the way I did the first time BUT, I left it on for a full 15 minutes on towel dried CLEAN HAIR. HECK YES, there was a BIG DIFFERENCE!!! I SWEAR I could hear Angels sing! For mu fourth and last time as that is all I could get out of the little bottle (some said they only got ONE use which makes me wonder how they are using it as it goes a lot longer way than I expected and while my hair is long and thick, I have a LOT of thin hairs that make it appear thick but the actual hair itself is fine. I just have a LOT OF THEM, so that is my “thick hair”) I put it on clean damp towel dried hair and again, just on the Brassy parts, and I put it on a time for 15 minutes…..well, OOPS! I didn’t hear the timer and it ended up staying on for about 25minutes and the AMAZING PATIENT AND KIND SELLER DID SAY “if you leave it on too long it may go to the darker silver side vs the white that you want.” So, FAIR WARNING. I could blame NO ONE BUT MYSELF! Photos to follow so you can see the transition…. All in all, THIS WORKS!!! WHEN you do the math, you too will see that it is NOT “pricey” compared to the mountain of failed products or trip after trip to a stylist. The ingredients did NOT bother my skin or scalp at all (Sometimes when I rinse the product - any product - out of my hair in the shower, when it touches my skin I will have a reaction like nothing you have seen. THIS PRODUCT did not do that!!! I Minored in Chem and while I do not think this will win a Blue Bunny award, it did NOTHING to my skin and it is a Litmus test for anything ‘bad’ that comes NEAR my skin. NO welts, dermatitis, lesions, sores of ANY KIND so it is a WINNER in my book.). The cost is well worth it to be able to manage and do it myself as even going in to a Salon can give me hives from the smell of the chemicals. My stylist will be ever so gracious and come to my home to cut my hair as she is well aware of the struggle over the past almost decade. Fighting and WINNING this fight once again (yes, after the metal toxicity, a rare form of leukaemia was found finally and I am kicking its butt and WINNING THE BATTLE on any and every field I can!) I do not ask for pity or for any babying. I rarely tell anyone my “story” unless it is to other survivors as the other 2 different types of “C” I have fought cost me more than I ever was willing to let go of but my life was the bargaining chip so I had to make a couple of tough decisions on those but I am STILL HERE and I feel great some days and others not so much but I just let my body tell me to sleep or if it feels like getting up and DOING SOMETHING, I DO! I DO IT with my LONG WHITE HAIR in a ponytail or straight down, sometimes in a wave….either way, it is long, it is MINE and it IS PLATINUM BLONDE! NB: I have a caveat on the LAST use of this product….as I said, I lost track of the timer and it was in for far too long (for MY HAIR as you MUST realize that the FIRST bottle you purchase is your “experiment” bottle so you get to KNOW what works for YOUR HAIR. Once you have that down, every bottle after that is a dream! The final photo will show you how dark silver it went from NOT PAYING ATTENTION to the timer. The GREAT THING, it WILL wash out in 2-3 washes to the WHITE I WANT. My fault for not watching the timer but NOW I KNOW what happens after 25 minutes. OOPS! I WAS WARNED and very educated by the seller whom I can never say enough great things about so if you are in doubt, just message them. The Customer Service is second to none and As long as this product is doing it’s job, I am going to have it in stock in my Shower forever and ALL of the FAILURE PRODUCTS can go to friends or the garbage as I hate to waste that money but not everyone that is family or friend has WHITE HAIR, ….. yet! LOL! SO, watch your timer but KNOW that it will wash out and that your hair FEELS GOOD and SMELLS FANTASTIC. There were a couple of reviews that showed the bottle leaking, I did NOT have that issue and I am not sure HOW that happened to them as there is a Seal on the bottle under the cap AND a clear plastic seal around the cap. Should that happen, don’t contact the seller because THAT is not their fault, contact AMAZON. They deliver it and I have seen HOW it gets delivered and not just this product but others as well. Just know that I can not see how that could happen IN the warehouse of this product. NOT with TWO seals. Just know WHOM to call and it is not the seller. All in all I love it and I am grateful I found something that WORKS FOR ME!!! FINALLY. I am happy and I know how and how LONG to leave it on and what it does if I mess up. To have found such a product was a long and arduous task but I finally did and I am NOT going back!!! Fifth: THIS is what happened when I left it on for 25 minutes so I am NOT kidding when I tell you to count your first bottle as your testing bottle to know what and how long and dry or wet, works on YOU BEST…..Clearly 25 minutes is TOO LONG on my hair! Sixth: after two washes from leaving it on for 25 minutes…..it is not QUITE perfect but one more wash and it will be! I do not wash my hair every day or it would be dry as a bone. I wash it three times a week so doing the math on that, one bottle would last me a month or a tiny bit more if I use the proper amount (and timing LOL!) live and learn. So for the amount it costs for ONE bottle, it is STILL cheaper than the salon or ANY product that does NOT work that I have wasted a TON of money on. For ME, the amount of this product is WORTH IT. If it went Higher, I would cry because not being able to work, budget is tight when it comes to luxury products but if I don’t look fairy good or even semi good, I feel WORSE and I do not need ANY help in feeling bad or hurting or even having a “Pity party for One” which I work HARD at not doing. THIS product is in my “Must have” List because it works. That is a short list….my “MUST HAVE” list. Believe me. I do not NEED a lot. I just NEED to be healthy as I CAN, not be in pure PAIN DAILY and be able to smile and be sincere about it not to mention feeling good about myself and as sad and vain as that sounds, it IS a real thing. It DOES make a difference. If the cost of this bottle can give me that sincere smile when I look in the mirror or run into someone I know, and not want to hide….then it is worth every single penny. FEELING GOOD is the goal, looking good is a bonus and I’ll take it. DO TRY IT, no matter what color. I have found this is the Holy Grail for me. I have friends who have tried the other colors and are happy as clams with how it works on them. Just stick to a color that is as close to your color you have and just want to give it a boost or to liven it up with some shine. It is NOT going to make Black hair Blonde. THIS is NOT a Bleach. It is a TONER if anything. Toners do NOT change black to white. (Yes I saw a review that someone gave and was mad about that…sheesh) so if in DOUBT, message the seller. They WILL help you. Heck, I even sent a couple of photos! I hav never had that much assistance from ANY hair product seller EVER. I KNOW I am looked after here. You will be too!!!

Make the perfect blue color when mixed with the punky blue shampoo. Makes my hair feel soft and amazing. 10/10 recommend!

I have my hair entirely bleached and dyed purple, and every 3 months go in to get my roots bleached and the color refreshed with permanent dye (Pulp Riot). The color always lightens significantly during those three months but using no fade fresh you cannot tell at all. I normally use the purple as it's about the same shade as the dye, but I have tried the red and blue as well. They can't cover the permanent purple dye but they definitely affect the shade for a few washes. Note - NO color depositing shampoo or conditioner will attach well to untreated hair, so if your hair has not been bleached or lightened, do not expect this to significantly affect it. It has no effect at all on my unbleached roots even though my natural hair color is blond. It WILL, however, dye your skin and nails very well, so wear gloves when you are shampooing, and if you get a big blob of it on your skin, rinse it well. It will also dye soap scum in your tub and probably some kinds of tile and grout so be ready to hose everything down. Also it will stain clothes if you get the shampoo on it, or don't rinse your hair well enough after washing. It does change the texture of your hair - the dye particles sit ON your hair rather than in it, so your hairs will feel thicker and coarser. Not a lot but it is a difference. Adds volume but removes a bit of sleekness. I would recommend the shampoo over the conditioner mostly because the conditioner doesn't smell BAD, but it doesn't smell good either. But both work just as well for keeping my color fresh.
