HP Aruba Instant IAP-305 IEEE 802.11ac 1.70 Gbit/s Wireless Access Point

This is the 300 Series IAP (Instant Access Point) which is a stand-alone wireless AP. You can add as many300 Series IAPs as you want to your wireless network. One will be designated as the master which then pushes configurations out to the other 300 Series IAPs on your network. If the "master" AP were to fail (highly unlikely), one of the other designated APs on your network will automatically assume the "master" role. It's a great system. The 300 series IAP version that is selling here, in my opinion, is one of the best APs on the market today. I have them installed in my home and my business. Easy to configure and more settings than you will most likely ever need, unless you like to tinker. Periodic software/firmware updates are made available from HP Aruba and are easily pushed out to all Aruba APs on your network. Hope that helps. see less

I've installed many of these Aruba's and each one has worked perfectly out of the gate. The 300 series is a very strong and capable access point, feature rich as one would expect out of an enterprise class product. It's fast, extremely configurable many SSID's can be created with different IP subnets, one virtual interface for multiple multiple devices. Set up one, and the other automatically picks up the configuration. mobile devices automatically switch access points when moving through the office - Like a cell phone and cell towers.I recommend these to all of my clients as well as my friends. I have two in my house.Excellent product!
