TaydeyA-Line Pleated Vintage Skirts for Women

I grabbed this skirt because I needed a skirt for my job that wasn't see through, didn't cling to my body, and was long enough to be work appropriate, but short enough to where my body could breath in the southern summertime. This skirt appeared to tick all those boxes for me.Fun fact about me: I am a plus sized woman. I wear all my weight in my chest area, but it does extend down to my stomach, thighs and behind. If you're anything like me, shopping online is hit-or-miss. If you're also like me, you don't know exactly your measurements because shopping is so draining for you. I scoured reviews looking for woman who was able to fit in this skirt that were similar body shape/size to me. After finding a few, I decided to make the jump and buy two of these in a 3X.It came in and felt very heavy, which was perfect for what I needed because that meant you couldn't see through it - which you can't! I am 5' 8" and this skirt hits me right at the knees, another bonus. I will say, it does fit rather funky on me. I find it riding up my body until it's underneath my boobs a lot. I have to constantly readjust it to bring it back down. I will also say that it does fit comfortably, it's a shame that it rides up. That could be on me and my posture, though! The stretch on this skirt is okay. Obviously not the greatest because of the riding up part, but still not the worst. I was also super happy about the pockets! They are deep enough to hold my phone and my keys/wallet. (My wallet is really small, though. It couldn't hold a full sized wallet.)The only real critical thing that I can mention about this skirt is the fabric. It holds on to EVERYTHING. I find dust or hair on it and I can't just wipe it away. It is IN there. I have to scrub it down with some water or give the skirt a few good shakes before putting it on. Obviously not a great look if you're trying to look professional. And I got a navy skirt. I can't imagine what the lighter color skirts would do with every day use.Overall, not a bad purchase. I'm glad I have something that fits me relatively okay. I probably will continue looking for something else a bit more flattering in the mean time, but this is a solid skirt for the most part.Info about me: 5' 8", 250 lbs. 3X worked for me.

This is a perfect shirt, because the zipper is on the side not the back, so no zipper struggle if it get caught on your shirt. The expanded button is perfect for me to make the skirt just a bit tighter or looser. Pockets are always key here! Great fit and look. The only thing I will say is always have a lint roller, this material has sone serious static cling. So matter the spray or anti cling to our use in the dryer but it is super versatile to seasons You can brighten it up for summer or you can bring it into full and even winter! Perfect capsule closet piece!

The lemon print has pockets and a waist with stretch and button closure.I also ordered bright red - NO pockets, no elastic in waist, just zipper and fixed size.Green had pockets and the same waiste as lemon.All versions are heavy structured cotton, that’s a wee bit scratchy. They’re true to the size chart but I wanted them for hot weather and to go hands free with pockets so I’m sending back. Too hot for east coast summer.

I get lots of compliments on this skirt. I'm a 12/14 depending on the item, and I sized up, but didn't need to. I love that it has a second button on it so you can loosen it up if you need to, but because I sized up I've never needed it. It's lined, so it's not see through, but be prepared with bike shorts on a windy day.

The skirt is not “cheaply made”. The skirt is more BEAUTIFUL in person!!Great materials!! VERY nice for the office or church.

This skirt, a tee shirt, and a light cardigan and I'm stylin' for the day. I think I will pair it with either red or black flats. Comfy and fun.

SUCH a great skirt! It fits nicely, was not too short, the pattern was adorable, and I felt cute 😊The only reason I don't give it five stars is because after washing (no dryer), it is very wrinkly. And I hate ironing!

I bought this adorable skirt to have an outfit for the 1940's ball it's beautiful in person. Needs a good steam before wearing as it arrived quite wrinkled. it is a stiffer material, not flowy so it keeps it's shape. Doesn't stretch. Very feminine and received quite a few compliments. Was a bit snug, I wear a 4-6 in dresses and ordered a small. Good quality. Hope I have another reason to wear it someday.

Great for the price. Not lined but nice thickish cotton with a touch of spandex. Sewn well, with an extra button at waistband to adjust up or down. Awesome- 2 pockets!!!!! I am a Large in Aust sizing so I went with the XLarge For a Chinese sizing make. Glad I did! The design is full pleated from waistband (As opposed to a sewn down dropped pleat) so it’s a real retro 50s look. Print is nice - vibrant bright lemon yellow - and will go with a lot of looks. It’s perky and will look neat ‘officed up’ will a slim cropped blazer and little sleeveless top and wedges of flats.

Love this skirt. Saving it for cooler weather when can wear with black tights and a turtleneck. I’m size 12-14 so ordered the XL for a perfect fit. Thanks Tayday and Amazon.
